Very nice, friendly, and secure hotel adjacent to a wonderful mall with lots of good coffee shops and restaurants. Conveniently located just a walking mile away to the Medellin social life area (restaurants, bars, and night clubs). Rooms are nice (not luxurious but nice) and has a good view of the city (if on a high level). Breakfast was good but does lack some "gringo" foods (bacon, ham, etc). Service is awesome. Endless coffee and always serving without needing to request it! Pool is small and a bit inconvenient to get too. Definitely worth the stay if you get a good price.

Friendly, professional, clean comfortable functional rooms. Great buffet breakfast with fruit vegetables omelettes and awesome simple choices. Oviedo mall next door (connected) has a supermarket and inexpensive food options if you need a quick dinner after a day of hiking or exploring. This is not a luxury hotel but near -luxe and frankly nicer. The staff, from checkin to bar to breakfast was universally charming and pleasant and efficient. The smile and daily good morning while pouring coffee by Luz Ángela literally lightened my heart (not to mention that she remembered how I took my coffee).. There were taxis outside but I preferred Uber, which was super cheap. It's only 10 minutes walk to Aguacatala metro (although Google maps will take you 2 miles out of the way since it doesn't understand overpasses -enter Integración Aguacatala on Google maps NOT the metro and follow the street signs. Four Points is a long walk (or quick Uber) from the nightlife section of El Poblado. Since I don't enjoy being around loud tourists that wasn't an issue for me! That nightlife section reminds me of Westwood in LA or Polanco in CDMX. I had a clean comfortable room on the 9th floor 902 with a lovely view. Not sure if I was upgraded as a Marriott gold, but it was good. AC worked fine. If I ever stay in El Poblado again, 4 Points would be my first choice.

I was pleasantly surprised by how upscale this hotel was, and it was certainly good value. It is located in an upscale area of the city bustling with eateries and shopping and is even connected via covered passageway to a mall next door. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of options. We didn’t know about the pool until the last day, but we probably wouldn’t have used it anyway. It’s quite small and overlooked by a restaurant in the adjacent mall. The location in the Poblado neighborhood is perfect for shopping, eating out or exploring the city. If I ever come back to Medellin, I would stay here again.

As a Bonvoy Member expected more commencing with ‘recognition’. Will be reaching out to Customer Service. Location quite frankly is odd. Hard to walk anywhere but the adjacent mall. Staff is unprepared for tourists who want to explore the city. Hotel does not have a city map and was unable to print one. They were challenged to point us in the correct direction. Thanks to UBER and friends we enjoyed our days in Medellin. Hotel breakfast was odd. Tables wee not bussed, food not replenished, limited staff. The last morning we just left and figured it out at the airport. Full service Marriott has a better location.
