On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

So the pros: central, shutters and windows block out noise of Tiki bar opposite, 20 sec walk to beach, same to cheap supermarket, excellent air con, hot powerful showers, comfy beds, shower on landing which after check out and a day on the beach we used before going to the airport, walking distance to train station and 20 mins from Nice airport, happy to store luggage after check out, secure door in and out of hotel, walking distance to Antibes for dinner too Cons: small dated rooms with dodgy concertina en suite bathroom door so little privacy when using facilities, reception staff ok but not overly helpful, no lift To be fair in an expensive lovely area this hotel suited a girlie break fine! We arrived on the train, checked in, and went straight out. Really in J les P you're not there to stay in a hotel! We showered, went out, slept, went to the beach and pretty much repeated!!
