This is my third stay at this hotel. It's just fabulous. The location, the hotel itself so clean. Overseen by the lovely head of housekeeping.. lovely lady who makes sure the air conditioning is to your liking. The staff are all so lovely from front of house to the ladies who service the rooms. I love the breakfast too, lovely fresh breads, cheeses, yogurts, juices, cakes, and eggs etc. I stayed this time with a young child and she loves it too! I'm already booked in for my next trip to Nice.

“La Villa Victor Hugo Nice, France”

Large room and bed in a nice old building. One of the biggest rooms we had on our trip. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. It is on a busy street so there was some noise, but not bad, except for garbage day when the wine bottles made quite a noise going into the garbage truck.… more

Large room and bed in a nice old building. One of the biggest rooms we had on our trip. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. It is on a busy street so there was some noise, but not bad, except for garbage day when the wine bottles made quite a noise going into the garbage truck. Easy walk to the water and many, many restaurants. Very reasonably priced, especially for the size of the room. We enjoyed our stay at La Villa.

“Great location, great staff”

Stayed for 4 nights with a number of family members including my 90 year old mum. Staff were very helpful in helping us source a wheelchair for my mum to use whilst in Nice. Our rooms were a good size, air conditioned and we were able to get the use of a couple of other bits of equipment to help ma… more

Stayed for 4 nights with a number of family members including my 90 year old mum. Staff were very helpful in helping us source a wheelchair for my mum to use whilst in Nice. Our rooms were a good size, air conditioned and we were able to get the use of a couple of other bits of equipment to help make my mum’s stay easier. Hotel is in a great location. We flew to Nice and were able to get the tram from airport to the Jean Medicin stop just located about 100 meters from the hotel. Lots of restaurants in close proximity and a 10 minute walk to the promenade des Anglais. Good breakfast.

“A good choice for shorter stays.”

I would say this was a genuine 3 star hotel. I had a superior room so space was ample for two guests. Breakfast was good simple continental with sausage and eggs being also available. I would say this was a genuine 3 star hotel. I had a superior room so space was ample for two guests. Breakfast was good simple continental with sausage and eggs being also available. The fixtures and fittings were slightly old in appearance but functional. The staff were friendly. Location ideal for us as it was near shops bars etc. A little walk from the beach but manageable but I wouldn't say Nice was a prime beach holiday destination. Only negative was the shower was a walk in wet room type but the whole bathroom floor would get wet if you weren't careful and this wasn't ideal. Overall a decent place to stay for a short 3 night stay. If staying longer I'd probably stay somewhere a bit plusher.
