We spent two nights in this hotel. It is centrally located charming old house. Prior to booking you should be aware about this. You will not have elevators, the streets around the hotel are non of the main traffic routes, but you will have some traffic noise. And you will hear some noises from your neighbours rooms due to the construction of the building. And finally, you have to park your car in the nearby public parking house (5 min walk). But the place is charming, the rooms are fairly well maintained, the air condition works perfectly, so you can close the windows while sleeping. The winter-garden is a nice place to stay, the friendly staff also serves wine etc.. and helps with reccomendation/reservations in the local restaurants. The market hall (and all the nice restaurants there) is within a 3-4 min walk. Within 5-7 mins you are at the beach. If you are willing to accept some minor compromises, this place is a clear recommendation from our side. We will definitely return.

“Wonderful Biarritz Hotel”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay (2 couples) in September. This is a lovely small hotel conveniently located with excellent staff. Our rooms were very comfortable in every way. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We couldn’t recommend it more.

This is a wonderful small hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful - delightful in fact. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Ours was a "comfort" class room on the first floor, with a (narrow but accessible) balcony. The hotel lounge area is well decorated and welcoming. The location of the hotel was ideal for us; two minutes from the market, where there are some very good restaurants nearby and tapas counters in the market itself, and easy walking distance to different beaches. Other reviews have pointed out that there is some traffic noise from the crossroads on which the hotel is situated, but that was not a huge problem for us, even though we had our window open all three nights we stayed. Also worth pointing out that if you are travelling in from the airport, the 36 bus drops you two minutes walk from the hotel at the Jardin Publique.

Breakfast was quite simple but of a really high quality. Very plentiful. The staff were all extremely polite, helpful & welcoming. They couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommended.
