What an amazing resort. We wished to have our sea view rooms next to the room with our children in, they weren’t able to do this so they upgraded us to a sea front room which was absolutely beautiful and practically right on the beach. We tried out loads of pools and all of them were amazing. We went scuba-diving with the Creta Maris scuba-diving company which was phenomenal. Seeing all of the beautiful sea creature on such a beautiful island. The all inclusive part of it was so nice, having the feeling that you don’t have to limit yourself, so you can really enjoy yourself. The complementary toiletries and drinks in the mini-bar, plants and writing utensils to send letters were amazing and the housekeeping staff were so lovely. It was such a surprise to us that on the last day after check out we were still able to use the park and the all inclusive benefits. The snack bars were so yummy especially the smoothie bar. We went to the pathos resteraunt on the first night and the food was absolutely amazing. For breakfast and dinner on all the remaining days we ate at the enemy resteraunt, the selection and quality of food was off the scale! Shout out to Zambia at the enomy resteraunt, she took such good care of us and even remembered our drink orders every night, 10/10! I could never stop gushing about this place, would definitely recommend! 100% worthy of a five star review, if I could give this place 1,000,000 stars I would, thank you for such amazing customer service and we would love to stay here again!

Wonderful hotel, beautiful grounds, amazing food with a couple of small niggles. We loved this hotel, especially the food - we have been to a lot of 5 star all inclusive and this was one of the better ones. Very fresh and traditional. The splash park for the kids was also very handy and fun. Clean spacious rooms. Not too crowded - we particularly LOVED the little pool with the traditional greek bar. Plush comfy sunbeds. The aperol spritz beach bar was also lovely luxury little touch! Most staff were incredible. Only niggles Sunbeds on the beach were taken and reserved most of the day with clearly noone using them which was disappointing - this was the case around the busier pool areas - people clearly hogging sunbeds! Food was amazing but it was a little disappointing how there were less ala carte restaurants that we could visit as a family - due to them being adults only. The Cretan restaurant food was amazing but the meal felt was very rushed by the gentleman hosting that evening.

We've just booked to return to Creta Maris this summer, after a wonderful holiday last year. It's a beautiful place, with plenty of pools, nice beach and great food and drink. Very much recommend the steak restaurant by the sea - gorgeous setting and the whole family loved their meal. The rooms are fairly functional, but very clean and with plenty of space, although the outdoor space we had was very limited. It also would be better to have a separate shower than a shower over bath which we had in our room, but that's not a big deal. We're going for a sea-view suite this year so will see how that is. We have a coeliac child who requires a strict gluten-free diet, and he was very well looked after. We had a meeting with the wonderful Exec Chef, Vaios, when we arrived and ongoing dialogue with him thereafter about what my son could eat. They prepared multiple dishes for him including calamari which was a particular favourite, and of course pizza! GF pancakes for breakfast were very well-received too. The gluten free dessert options could be better, and it would be great for there to be gluten free ice cream available around the resort (this should be quite easy to achieve as so many brands are) - and some options at the snack bar, waffle/pancake bar. If these had been available it would have been the icing on the cake for us. It was very appreciated to have a gf burger and chips delivered to the pool one day. Creta Maris is a beautiful, hospitable place and we really can't wait to return in the summer.

The hotel is beautiful, food is really good and the rooms and cleanliness of the whole hotel are faultless. There were however 2 points that made the holiday hard work. One - Only one very small heated pool out of 13 is not enough in the month of May when temperatures aren't guaranteed. Every family with children were gathered around the same pool and there were nowhere near enough sunbeds near by. The main pool should be heated. Two - Drinks service is extremely slow. When watching the evening entertainment, the nearest bar had one member of staff taking forever making cocktails, meaning there was a 20 minute wait to get a kids apple juice. No good when you're trying to enjoy the entertainment. There should be help yourself soft drinks available at all times. Other bars were also painfully slow, at least 30minutes sometimes to have an order taken.
