I have recently returned from a weeks stay at the Palladium Hotel in Marmari on the island of Kos. I want to say that we had a wonderful time and the hotel was top notch. It was great value for money and the staff were just fantastic. We arrived late and the guy on reception checked us in and helped us carry the bags to our room. We do recommend that you book a deluxe room, it is well worth the extra expense. The room was well appointed with a double bed, TV, sitting area and dressing table, the wardrobe was adequate for 2 people but could do withy a few extra hangers. There was tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bathroom had a toilet, sink and a shower, all worked fine. The balcony overlooked the adults area pools. This brings me on to the pools, there is a main pool and jacuzzi near the hotel for everybody's access and there 3 adults only pools by the deluxe room buildings. The pools are clean and clear. The adults only pools are large enough for a decent swim. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and we ate lunch in the hotel on 4 days out of 7. The food is excellent and I would like to thank the efforts of Themis and Brunhilda for their hard work. Now there is only a couple of issues and they have nothing at all to do with the hotel and its amazing staff. There is nothing at all in Marmari; near the hotel is 1 Taverna (The Aegean) that thankfully served great food and there are 2 bars within walking distance. The beach is a 30 minute walk from the hotel and there are a few beach bars there, otherwise there is nothing else. Note: the hotel puts on a complimentary bus service to the beach each day. Thankfully there is also a regular bus into Kos Town and the stop is 2 minute walk from the hotel if you want a livelier night out. As well as the adults only area there are family rooms and a family area at the hotel where kids can enjoy themselves without disturbing others. The hotel appears to be geared up for German holidaymakers and hence it is clean, tidy and serves good food, there are a lot of German guests, for which I do not have a problem as I speak the language. Note: Checkout is 12:00 pm and it is worth asking if you can keep your room on if you have a late flight home. There is a charge for this and I would like to thank Anastasia for her help with this matter.

I don't often write reviews, but when you get as good an experience as service as here I feel inclined to. The hotel was lovely and so was the room (a twin family room), it was very clean and room service ensured it stayed that way with daily visits for cleaning and towel changes etc. If I was being picky the wife said the main bedroom was missing a mirror for her getting dressed. We stayed half board and the breakfast and evening meals offered a great variety, my two kids, one of whom is very picky did not struggle to eat. Breakfast was continental or hot offerings. Hot food though, especially sausage was geared towards there German guests. Evening meals were also lovely offering a mix of Greek and international dishes. Again if I were to pick there was little to no allergy information, something personal to me having a gluten intolerance. The pool had a good number of loungers, never failed to get a bed and had good areas for those who wanted sun and those looking for shade. Staff were all lovely and friendly, especially the reception staff, cleaners and special mention to Themis the waitress at the snack bar who was awesome. In case it matters to people we were as English tourists by far the minority in the hotel, the majority were German guests.

We recently enjoyed an 8-night stay at this remarkable hotel, and from start to finish, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you are seeking a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing holiday away from the noise, this property is a true gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated a level of friendliness and helpfulness that exceeded our expectations. They promptly provided us with all the necessary information about the hotel, Marmari, and other noteworthy places to explore on the island. The hotel staff truly enhanced our stay, making it an absolute pleasure to interact with them. In particular, we would like to commend Alexis at reception, who stood out as a highlight of our trip. His warm and engaging demeanor made every conversation enjoyable, and we were never tired of speaking with him. Spyros at reception was equally kind and accommodating, always ready to assist with any queries we had. The restaurant and bar staff were also exemplary in their service. One of the restaurant team members offered valuable recommendations for places to visit in Tigaki, which we greatly appreciated. A commendation goes to Themis at the bar/restaurant, whose attentiveness and dedication to providing excellent service were deeply appreciated. We cannot express our gratitude enough. Our beach mini-bus driver, Stefanos, deserves special recognition for being one of the kindest individuals we encountered during our stay. His warm hospitality added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, our housekeeper was incredibly nice and attentive, ensuring our room was consistently clean and well-maintained. We are sincerely grateful for her efforts. Lastly, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the owner of the hotel, Zoi. Her genuine kindness and friendliness made a lasting impression on us. From our very first interaction, she took the time to get to know us, and her warm spirit truly made us feel at home. Words cannot fully capture the extent of her generosity and the positive impact she had on our stay. If you have the opportunity to meet her, we are confident you will adore her as much as we did. Regarding our accommodations, we stayed in room 456, a superior room in the older building. The room was well-maintained, clean, and spacious, with a beautiful garden and pool view. The bed was very comfortable, providing us with restful nights. It is worth noting that the television channels are predominantly in German, which may be a consideration for those who watch TV while on holiday. However, this was not an issue for us, and we are certain that the staff would be more than willing to assist if needed. The food at the restaurant was delicious, offering a variety of high-quality options to suit different tastes. Although there are four swimming pools on the property, guests staying in the older building have access only to the main pool, which we found to be large and impeccably clean. There were plenty of sunbeds available, many of which were conveniently located in shaded areas. Regarding the beach, while there is no private beach, Marmari Beach is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Depending on your walking pace, this can be done in a shorter time. Alternatively, the hotel provides a complimentary mini-bus service that takes you to the beach in just 3 minutes. The shuttle operates at 9:00 am and 9:30 am for departures, with return trips at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. For those who prefer, car hire is also an option. To visit Kos Town, Tigaki, or other nearby towns, guests can take the bus, which costs €2.30 each way. The hotel provides a timetable for your convenience, or, again, you may opt to hire a car for more flexibility. While the hotel primarily caters to German tourists, this did not pose any challenges for us. We conversed with the staff mainly in Greek and occasionally in English, so communication was never an issue for us. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone, including our family and friends. We look forward to returning in the future.

My room was spacious, clean and had a lovely view overlooking the front, and was a stone’s throw away from the pool and bar area. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and were happy to chat! Being a 15 minute walk to the beach was also a huge bonus. I’d be happy to stay here again!
