The ALS is a budget hotel, no pool or sun deck, but it is situated between the two main beaches, both 100m, and close to the main bar area and the shops and cafes. It is a short walk to old town. The ALS is a budget hotel, no pool or sun deck, but it is situated between the two main beaches, both 100m, and close to the main bar area and the shops and cafes. It is a short walk to old town. The rooms are clean and tidy, basic and OK, TV with English and Greek channels, fridge. They gave me a kettle free. Most rooms have a sea view, a view of Turkey across the water, palm trees in front of the hotel! Breakfast is part cooked and part buffet; scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs, plus buffet usual. The staff and very helpful and friendly, and there were no loud English tourists here, mostly Europeans.

Very good location, 5 min to the sea, a bit basic, but worth every penny. Nice, hardworking staff, breakfast more than enough to start the day with. This hotel deserves more stars, and it is fantastic value for money, would recommend to anybody not seeking 5* accommodation, but something wallet friendly , right in the heart of Rhodes town. We stayed here in May. It was only the one night as we were going Island Hopping. We were very happy with the hotel. The room had a fab sea view and a view over the gardens below with the palm trees. We stayed here in May. It was only the one night as we were going Island Hopping. We were very happy with the hotel. The room had a fab sea view and a view over the gardens below with the palm trees. The room was ok, a little tired but the whole balcony wall was a window which I really liked. There was lots of space, a hood breakfast buffet with lots of choice. It was close to the beach and in a good location. We got this at a good rate and it was a bargain. I really liked this hotel and would stay here again.

The only reason I rated Als hotel with just four stars is because it's a little older hotel. I received positive impressions the very first day when my fiancé and I arrived at the hotel. Employees at the reception are very pleasant and helpful. We arrived at hotel 7 hours earlier than the expected time but it was not a problem because they immediately arranged our room and In this way, we could immediately start our vacation in Rhodes. The rooms are simple and pleasant, maybe little older but it is cleaned every day. The best thing about this hotel is the view from the balcony and the location. The beach is only 4 minutes away. The breakfast was included and it was good for me.
