OK- I'm being VERY picky here...it's a great place to stay, just some end of season (?) oversights. Room / hotel Cleanliness. Excellent except glassware in the rooms; that old thing where the service crew (maybe?) wiped out the glass with the cloth they use elsewhere…I always wash the glasses out in any hotel I visit. Facecloths inexplicably withdrawn after day 3. :-( Room tea & coffee replenished daily but inconsistently; some days we got milk, some days we didn’t. Only had green tea from day 2, breakfast tea for last day. Plenty of brown sugar for the coffee but no white sugar. Hardly going to loose the hotel a “star”, just attention to detail and consistency. By the last day everything was OK- just hiccups through the week. This stuff is all on one of those plastic “tea making trays” with the little cut-outs for things. Great if the kettle etc., fits, a bit fiddly if not. Just checking it’s 2024 and not 1999…maybe a bit out of fashion now. Noisy guests. Always get noisy and inconsiderate guests wherever you go. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but just distracting. I appreciate it's their holiday too, but neither them nor I am the centre of the world and communal living = considering your neighbour. Didn't affect sleep as such, just clattering in late on and worthy of an 'eye roll'. Breakfast Food was good if limited / repetitive. If you stayed for >7 days you'd get bored of the breakfast. Something has changed in Greece…the coffee is now weak (and expensive- although it is included here). Some inconsistency with seasoning day to day, some dishes had WAY too much salt, and the bread slicer doesn't fully slice the loaves...not an issue in itself, but with thbread basket perched on a rack, it makes the tongs useless and you just have to use your hands. TOASTER…the dreaded hotel toaster!! Bread slices needed 3 sometimes 4 passes -per side- as it only had a single heating element working. How much is a hotel toaster? €250? €300? €400 for a posh one? Perhaps “splash out” for a new one…? Maybe carry a spare, too. Again, it won’t loose you a star, it's just one of things that doesn't say 'quality' inline with the hotel's general theme and appearance. Location is what the location is. I had no issues with it but some might. Hilly, cobbles, usual Greek kerb heights (massive or tiny). Why the plastic grass? Unusual crinkle-noise when you walk on it. There's only about 8m2 if that, so maybe get some really nice stuff in? Storage! I’m no fan of hotel chest-of-drawers or a separate wardrobe, but there’s simply not enough space for cases / to unpack. You end up creating chicanes & obstacles of luggage, shoes, and dirty laundry. And weird cushions on the bed. Hotels always have weird cushions… Bathroom. Fine- no problems at all. I particvulalry liked the pebble-floor of the shower. Suggestion for the management: Have your staff stay in a room for a night or two- with partners / families…let them experience what you’re selling. Is it good? What was missed? What can you do better? Compare with competitors in town. It is very clear your staff are happy, engaged, and well-managed- and the hotel is very good. Like I said- I'm being very picky as I think you and your team can edge up the standards. I'd be happy to work for you from I could gather from the staff. Staff were excellent. Well done and thank you for your hospitality. That lovely young man with the glorious curly hair was especially helpful- I apologise for not taking his name. Staff advised us about Ohi Day and helped us secure a hire car...they were all so friendly and helpful- well done to you all. Last thing- in the lobby you have an ancient artefact, OK

We stayed in the swim up suites which were absolutely stunning. Greeted with welcome drink, nibbles and tour of the hotel the staff could not have been more welcoming throughout our stay. The food was lovely - favourite was the chicken salad! Good range of drinks and cocktails and the service at the pool was excellent. We also had the spa special message and would highly recommend. The location of this hotel is brilliant as well. Our only minor improvement point - which might be a personal thing - is we felt the main and swim up pool was like a cold water dip despite temperatures still being in the late 20’s for that time of year.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and were always happy to help. Beautiful & clean hotel great location. The breakfast was nice with a great variety. Nice, small quiet pool area without the hussle. Perfect for a quiet relaxing stay. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable stay and a special thank you to Elena, Sofia, Angel, Eleni and Vasilis.

Thank you to the Aressana Hotel for a great stay. I stayed in August with my family in a premium room with sea view and would like to say from the moment you arrive you are warmly greeted with a friendly welcome by the reception staff and given a cold towel and a cold drink, then taken on a tour of the hotel and its facilities and escorted to your room, this straight away gives you a really good feeling and warm welcome. The premium room is modern and clean and tidy with its separate room with a double bed and the living room with a single is perfect for a family of 3 and the balcony with sea views sets the scene perfectly for sitting outside with a drink and admiring the views. Breakfast is a nice variety of Greek buffet food over looking the pool area and the staff are very friendly. The pool area is very relaxed and the sunbeds comfortable and pool bigger than it looks on the photos and the bar area perfect for drinks and food with again very friendly staff. The spa and treatments are excellent, staff professional and the facilities including gym are fitted out well. The location is unbeatable being literally a few steps from the Caldera with its wonderful views, shops, great restaurants and nightlife. Thank you again Aressana and if your thinking of booking this hotel don't hesitate you will have a absolutely great time.

“Oasis in the heart of Fira”
Really welcoming boutique hotel in the heart of Fira but somewhat of an oasis of calm from the tourist bustle. Rooms were spacious although balconies were small. The only disappointment was the breakfast which was bland considering the wonderful cuisine available in Greece.
