Another fantastic stay at Bitzaro Grande Hotel, we arrived early and our room was already waiting for us so a quick clothing change and down to the pool bar to meet up with friends who we met here 2 years ago. The cleanliness is outstanding of the entire hotel and we felt at home straight away. The room has everything you need including tea and coffee, safe, air conditioning and a hairdryer, it also has plenty of storage space for everything including long dresses. The pool bar is lovely and we never had to wait for service, Xhino is a star and made our stay special he is an awesome young man. Faye and Denise’s on reception are wonderful ladies who gave us local knowledge of the area. Christina at the restaurant entrance is a lovely lady who always had a smile and managed to seat us all together every evening. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived and look forward to returning next year.

Booked a cheeky week mid October via TUI. The hotel is spotless and the rooms very modern. The shower is actually in the room rather than a bathroom so if you were with someone who you didn’t want to see you naked it might be awkward. (Unless they stay the other end of the room). The food for an AI was one of the best I have experienced. Always something different and hot. If you’re after chicken nuggets and chips this isn’t the place for you. Different themed days and always something to eat. Saying that we still ate out a few times just to mix it up a bit. I suspect most people on an all inclusive do. Beer was ok and the shorts were good. Great measures. The wine was horrid. The snack bar through the day was exceptional. All food cooked to order and rarely a queue. There was little in the way of entertainment maybe because of the time of year. Pool area and gardens are lovely. The beach is 10 mins walk , the strip 10 mins the other way. The staff at this hotel are exceptional. From the reception to the cleaners. Everyone was lovely. Always a smile and willing to go out of their way to make your holiday special. Forget the 2 drinks per customer. A daft rule that they didn’t enforce. There were a couple of children there but really this felt more like an adults only hotel. There’s not much to entertain children and I think they’ve got the atmosphere about right. I could mention a few of the staff by name but that’s only because you interact with them more than others (bar staff for example), but truly all the staff were great. Would I come back. Most definitely. Maybe a few weeks earlier in the season just so more places on the strip are open. The planes going over were a bonus. Great to see and the noise last a few seconds. The managent of this hotel can be truly proud of their team.

Booked a last minute trip for a week at this lovely hotel. Check in was quick and easy and we were soon sat a table for evening tea due to us arriving at 7.15pm. We landed at the airport at 6.45pm and had booked a private taxi to avoid the blind panic of getting a bus etc. Taxi was there on time and took just over 10 minutes to get to our hotel. Accomodation: Rooms were clean and basic. To connect to the internet you had to to turn the tv on to activate the hotspot. The tv was modern but chanels were limited. There was a mini fidge in the room which was nice as we always stocked up with water etc. The rooms were cleaned everyday without fail and the cleaners were always pleasant and happy. Reception: I couldnt fault the staff on reception and in particular denise ( sorry spelt it wrong) who was very helpful, polite and didnt mind a chat neither. Food/Drink: Food was lovely if a little repetive bit there are plenty of restaurants nearby to visit if you like. Lunch and evening tea were nice and plentiful and a good choice for everyone. The drinks were the only let down. The beer was not the normal strength, watered down is more of an open view, pretty much the whole drinks menu we found it to be the case. We werent bothered but something to be mindful of when booking if your looking for this. The poolside: Always room for 2 people and no fighting over beds etc. Yes there were your select few who like to have 1st dibs and got up at 8.30 for this but there was really no need. The pools were shallow and cold but that was great seeing as it was in the 30s in the middle of october. Cons: Not that many toilets on site ( or none we could find closer) so if you were having food and needed the toilet you had to walk out of the restaurant and walk down a flight of stairs to go to the toilets you'd use in the daytime by the pools outside. Entertainment Was only 2 maybe 3 times a week at 9pm A la carte Wasnt advertised unless you knew it was avasilable so we booked on the 3rd day we got there. ( maybe mention it to people when checking in? ) It was really nice so found that baffling. Drinks Maybe have a few drink stations that you can go to and help yourself throughout the day ( like in the main restauarant) rather than go to the pool restauarant each and everytime you require a drink. Would i visit again? Absolutely

Highly recommended. My husband and myself have been to Kalamaki on numerous occasions, and we try different places to stay. this is an All Inclusive hotel, but we did eat out on a lot of evenings, as we love the town. Food was a bit samey, in the hotel, but plenty of choices, each day, and some themed evenings too. drinks Ok, but the queues did let it down a bit, but not a major issue. All in all a fabulous holiday, see you all In Kalamaki next year

We booked a really last minute deal with the hotel and had a good time . Transfer from the hotel is very quick which is a bonus . Check in staff were very welcoming and professional . The room had plenty of storage . Decent pillows , a tv on the wall / fridge in the cupboard . There is a safe and good shower . The layout in the room is modern and a bit different but it worked well for us . The balcony had 2 chairs and a small table with a view of the pool which is a decent size and layout ( although the water was freezing ) . Sunbeds go quickly so it was a case of having to get up early to get a decent one … one major gripe is people smoking on their loungers they also take over pretty much all the outside areas which if you don’t smoke is not very pleasant . More No smoking areas in the hotel would encourage me to return . ( the only one is one part of the restaurant ) . The snack bar at the pool does burgers etc and was single handedly run by Michael who is a credit to the hotel . Entertainment was low key with singers in the lobby on a couple of nights however most people played cards / board games etc . Back to my smoking gripe again even here in the lobby you are affected by the smokers out on the nice terrace as the doors are left open might not bother some but I’m not a fan . The beer was ok but weak . The wine was out of a self serve tap which probably reveals its quality . I’ve always found that opinions on food are usually split on all inclusive and here was the same . There was always something to eat and a lot of it was good however our expectations were tempered by the fact that we were there in the last week of the season . Overall we had a great time on the island . The people are so nice and friendly . The weather was really good for the time of the year and I think we will revisit Greece at this time of year in the future . Things that would lift the hotel a level or two . Put some juice / beers / water in the fridge every couple of days . Have a think about how non smokers can take advantage of the nice outside areas . Put a bug killer / zapper in the room ( there are screens on the balcony doors but if they get in you will get eaten alive ) .. take plenty of Deet spray in your luggage . I will check and see if Bitzaro have other hotels and maybe give them a visit .ps .. there is a wee tourist train nearly and they are very friendly / good value and worth using .
