We highly recommend this hotel--we had the pleasure of meeting Ferdaous and Bebeto! The check-in process was smooth and we were greeted with a house cocktail--yum! Gorgeous views of the ocean and countryside. Our room/bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful and steamy. We were impressed with the attentive room service and it was very quiet. Ferdaous was so kind and she surprised us with a "VIP" dinner table on the patio overlooking the moonlit sea. Relaxing here was a gem of luxury and it was located in the heart of the city. **Do NOT rent a car. Easy walkability to restaurants/shops/bus, ferry, taxi. Parking is tight EVERYWHERE in Italy. It was a lovely vacation~ Thank you kind people!

10/10 hands down best hotel I have ever stayed. We stayed here 5 nights on our honeymoon and it was perfect. The staff was amazing- every single person was so kind, friendly and welcoming. We loved the daily complimentary wine hour and we ate at the restaurant multiple times. We booked a room with a private hot tub on the balcony and it was so perfect relaxing & taking in the unreal views everyday (100% worth the money). There are plenty of beautiful choices in Positano but I am so glad we picked Hotel Montemare for our honeymoon!

Everything was perfect, clean room, the most comfortable bed, pillows and the little surprises ( bottle of prosecco, lemon biscuits etc ) ... Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great selection of food at breakfast with outstanding view and atmosphere. Such a professional service. Good selection of drinks at the bar (a bit too pricey for a gin and tonic 24e). Beautiful hotel and close to everything. Staff is extremely attentive, and the dining facilities are excellent. They gave us great dining selections when we were going off of the Hotel property. We will definitely return. The views from the hotel are breathtaking.

We loved everything about this hotel. From the friendly staff, the breakfast and of course the views. The location was perfect for us! We love to stroll down to enjoy the views. Shops and places to eat everywhere, no need a car. To have a cappuccino, fresh squeezed oj, various pastries and a chef waiting to cook you eggs every morning and eat in an open sea view was just heaven. The staff was always glad to greet you and made us feel at home. Thank you to Katia and all her team for always willing to help us. And for Sicilia and Dimitri for preparing breakfast every morning. Seriously we are missing it all! We can't wait to go back!
