Stayed here for a week at the beginning of October as the resort was closing down for the winter, which we did know in advance. The hotel is on the edge of the village right on the beach and an ideal location to walk to the centre and across the canal bridge to Cattolica. We went on a full board basis as part of a late deal and each night there were sufficient choices to pick from and served with a free glass of wine 🍷 which was brilliant. Breakfast was plentiful and Anna made omelettes and fried eggs on request. The room was a bit tired looking but was fine and a decent bathroom / shower. The staff in reception were brilliant and helped us plan days out by bus / train and even had free bikes for guests which we used on a 20km morning cycle round trip to Riccione. From the hotel we also travelled to Rimini, Cattolica, Gradara, San Marino & Gabicce Monte. The views from the hotel pool / sun terrace were incredible looking out over the beach. The hotel gave us a lift back to the train station on the last day as we needed to travel to Bologna for our flight home, which was a nice touch. Thanks everyone 👍

“Seafront rooms are fabulous”

We were not advised by our tour agent that sea front rooms were a possibility. Our initial room was fine but a touch small. We were not advised by our tour agent that sea front rooms were a possibility. Our initial room was fine but a touch small. We paid a small premium to upgrade and it was a whole different experience - really gave you the holiday vibe! Breakfast was superb, dinner varied from okay to weird. Reception staff were exceptional with giving help with buses etc. They were particularly kind when we had to cut short our visit because my mother was very ill

The hotel staff are good. The deal they have with "The Travel Department" is not. Booked a front view twin room. Big extra cost. The hotel staff are good. The deal they have with "The Travel Department" is not. Booked a front view twin room. Big extra cost. Given a side sea view room at the back of the hotel on the road side with three beds and very little spare room to move about. Eventually had the night porter, after several phone calls, produce what I paid for. We arrived at 2200 and were told because of the time of arrival, a plated selection of cold food would be offered. No meat all veg dried and turned up because it had been on the plate and uncovered since dinner. Breakfast was good apart from the juices, watered down to slightly coloured water. Dinner cold starter cold buffet was good . I had soup three times. Different name , all the same. Made from the left over mash from the night before. No sitting at the window tables . Reserved for the Germans. All in all not 4 star
