Still here and what a great place. The staff are so friendly helpful and accommodating. The night receptionists could not have been more hospital. Still here and what a great place. The staff are so friendly helpful and accommodating. The night receptionists could not have been more hospital. The morning waitress has actually just gone outside to pick fresh fruit for the guests. It is such a breath of fresh air to have such lovely people wanting to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Would definitely come again.

“View over the sea”
The rooms are small and somewhat antiquated with single-pane windows(permitting the church bells to be noisy), but these deficiencies are more than compensated by the buffet breakfast which is excellent and by the helpful staff; so this hotel is to be recommended.

We booked this hotel in person at the very last minute. I had managed to fit in a short trip to see my husband who has been working in the area and didn't give him much notice to find a hotel! I need not have worried as this hotel is a little gem in this stunning part of the Italian Riviera. We had a double room on the 3rd floor(room 59), with a balcony and stunning views right across the marina. The hotel is basic and the bathrooms could really do with some updating. The steps up from the main street to the hotel are not for the faint hearted so would suggest the longer route via the road or use them as your daily work out!!! Breakfast was included in our rate, which I only managed to get up for on my final morning. It was continental with the usual breads croissants, fruits, cereals etc, and with the best steaming hot cappuccino I had in all my 5 days in Imperia. What really makes this hotel is its staff. Paola in particular was lovely and her English is a credit to her and so much better than my Italian ! All the staff from reception to housekeeping were friendly and polite and made me feel so very welcome. I would recommend this hotel and most definitely the sea view rooms with balconies.
