“Great base for exploring the area”

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights from 9th October on an all inclusive basis. We booked through Tui who rate the hotel as a 3T plus, my review is based on this rating. The hotel is in very large in well looked after grounds. We were given a map on arrival which was useful. A bit more information on restaurants not included on all inclusive, where to find menus and how to book them would have been good. Our room in the gardens was lacking a bit in storage space and we missed having tea and coffee facilities but otherwise it was comfortable, clean and maid service was excellent, including leaving us 2 small bottles of water daily as part of the all inclusive. Beach towels were included for all inclusive guests, we were told we could change once daily at no charge. There were always sun loungers free by the pool and we had our own allocated sun loungers on the beach. Food was sometimes lacking in choice, especially at breakfast, but everything was well cooked and we never struggled to find plenty to eat that we could enjoy. Pastries at breakfast and desserts at dinner were particularly good! Wine was included at lunch and dinner, although we could also request beer as part of the all inclusive option if preferred. The buffet in the evening could be very busy and as a result quite noisy but we never needed to wait to be seated and the waiters work very hard to keep tables clear and drinks filled up. Location worked really well for us, just 10 minutes walk to the Recanati bus station from where we could get buses to Taormina, on to Castelmola from Taormina and also to Catania. We really enjoyed exploring by bus, although the bus timetables seemed flexible so patience sometimes needed! Giardini Naxos harbour is also only 15 to 20 minutes walk away. The weather while we were there was glorious and the hotel provided an excellent base for exploring the area and also for some much needed relaxing beach or pool time. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The best time We have spent the best week at the UnaHotels Naxos Beach. Our room on the 4th floor with the view of Taormina, Castelmola and side sea view, cosy table on chairs on the balcony to enjoy a sunrise coffee or drinks whilst taking in the sound of birds and waves. The food was a delightful site, delicious and beautifully displayed. The grounds a heaven of tranquility. Olive trees surrounding the smaller pool, Mediterranean shrubs, and citrus trees to delight the eye. The staff? Amazing! Courteous and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, a reflection on the management. A shout to Giuseppe the Operational Manager, the Head Chef Sebastiano, all the 40 kitchen/restaurants staff; concierge Veronica and Giancarlo, reception, and last but not least bar staff. Thank you all for making our week and our 49th anniversary so memorable. Mara

The hotel had a lot of options for activities such as a training room, tennis courts, table tennis, and an olympic pool. Staff was Nice and took good care of us. The private Beach was okay. Several options for food at night.

“Another great visit at Una”
We stayed at the Una for two weeks in the main hotel. This hotel is kept pristine. I agree with some reviews that it is an older hotel but I would argue that it is maintained well. We stayed at the Una for two weeks in the main hotel. This hotel is kept pristine. I agree with some reviews that it is an older hotel but I would argue that it is maintained well. The rooms are well equipped,but maybe take your own hairdryer , but this is often the case that it's attached to the bathroom wall. The staff are incredible from Reception through to restaurant (Nunzio and his team) and Lorenzo ( entertainment). Bar staff were always fun and helpful , Loredana, Salv C and Giuseppe. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Food here is Italian! We stayed all inclusive and ate well every night. If you are looking for chips, or traditional English options this may not be the hotel for you, as the hotel keeps to the culture. We loved the range of pastas and food options. Swimming pool area was spotless, lots of sunbeds and the beach had bed availability also. What makes this hotel 4 star is the staff!

“Good time”
Stayed half board for 7 days. Great Hotel. We stayed in the little villa type apartment. Friendly helpful staff. Food was really nice with plenty of choice for everybody. Only water and wine is served with evening meal. Grounds beautiful, tidy and well kept . Comfortable rooms cleaned every day.… more

Only water and wine is served with evening meal. Grounds beautiful, tidy and well kept . Comfortable rooms cleaned every day. Rooms does not have a kettle, but the nice staff arranged one for us. A few bits dated and needed attention, but this did not affect our stay. All in all, we enjoyed the stay. Would we go again? Yes
