“Great Time at Hopps”
We spent wonderfull time at Hopps hotel. Personel was very kind and helpfull. Rooms are clean and nice. Food also very good. The biggest advantage was Animation for kids and adults (lots of games, aerobic, dance and competitions) leads by Marika, Serena and Ciro. Best wishes and good luck for you.

“Ciro won our heart”
Ciro was the highlight of our stay. His energy was incredible and he was so kind. His entertainment varied from aqua gym to dancing to singing performances in the evening. He was so enthusiastic and had a clear passion for his job. Thank you Ciro for making our holiday so special

this was a great for a low budget. the pool was lovely, although be aware the entertainment is from about 7am until midnight so there is no peace and quiet, and it can be heard loudly from your room. the sun beds were generally fine but a few were broken, and there were not enough umbrellas to go round. the entertainment itself was great, and the entertainment staff were very friendly. the nearby beach with free sun beds and umbrellas for hotel guests was delightful - the best part of the holiday for me. the room was very good. very clean every day, comfy beds, a gorgeous large balcony with a sea view, and lovely bathroom with good shower. the hotel as a whole was very clean and beautifully decorated. the food was generally not the best. breakfast was good, though there were often not the right cutlery or crockery. lunch and dinner at the main restaurant were quite limited, and food was not of the best quality. we much preferred the a la carte restaurant, but there was still fairly limited choice. the location is okay. it’s a ten minute walk from the beautiful old town, with lots of great things to see, but there was no supermarket within 2 miles. something we were not prepared for was the lack of english speakers. the reception staff spoke good english, but no one else in the hotel did, making it fairly difficult to order food and drinks, understand the entertainment, or generally communicate with staff. some staff were very friendly but others seemed annoyed at us for not understanding italian. be aware that the “all inclusive” element does not include wifi or all alcoholic drinks. the bar closes at 10pm and you are limited as to what drinks are included. also, getting water was very hard! we were not allowed to fill up large bottles, nor purchase them. in order to get drinks, you had to ask at the bar and you would be given one small cup and have to keep going back. this is a good choice for a family with young children, looking for something budget friendly, prepared to generally stay in the hotel or beach.

For uk travellers think of this as a Travelodge with a pool, its clean well maintained has everything you need for a no frills week in the sun. I’d say this hotel by uk standards would be a 3 star. The staff make the place, friendly and great service. The entertainment crew have bundles of energy and run activities across the day and evening. Definitely a big plus for this hotel. The food is typical basic all inclusive, with two restaurant options the main restaurant doing a buffet style and a pizzeria offering table service made to order pizzas and burgers. I have food allergies so found myself living on salad, so if you are vegan or have any food allergies I’d recommend looking at different hotels. Not to say you can’t eat just it’s a bit repetitive. (This isn’t on the hotel while the buffet style does give options for all it’s not the biggest selection I’ve had even at smaller hotels.) The pool, it’s big enough to cope with the guests but small enough to keep an eye on smaller humans if you are travelling with younger children. It’s clean and well maintained like the rest of the hotel. It’s not heated which is a relief!! July the air temperature is 35-38 but the real feel is much higher so a dip in the pool is just what was needed. As with all, all inclusive hotels there’s the standard towel wars at 7am to bag the perfect sun lounger(s) they have good shaded areas, can’t complain. Other guests, generally speaking are made up of Italians from the mainland and French families. The occasional Brit! Has a definite family vibe, with the occasional group of friends of all ages. The surrounding area is rustic and a little down at heal. Like most resort towns you can’t tell it’s struggled since Covid to recover. It’s nice for a walk along the sea front or a morning 5km. There are a few independent shops and restaurant, but not a lot going on. The hotel has organised trips on offer to get you out and about. I’d recommend this hotel for those looking for a tan on a budget. Just right for a few days! We booked for 5 days and that was enough for us. You would be best off booking the all inclusive option for drink and food (as said the town doesn’t have a lot going on)
