“Grand Hotel Ortigia - Old Sicilian Charme”
The grand Hotel Ortigia offers traditional Sicilian Charme at a perfect location. Easy to access. Parking next door. We were welcomed so nicely. Room was great. Breakfast fantastic. Absolute great stay and if we should be back well book again.

From start to finish this was almost a five star experience. I booked directly with the hotel and they gave me exactly the room I requested. The front desk staff was helpful and professional and made me a spa appointment. The hotel is in a marvelous location in this most beautiful city. I had a single room, sea view with balcony. As a single woman traveling alone, the Grand hotel was the perfect choice. All of the employees were kind and attentive. The dining room staff knows who you are, what coffee you drink and when you are checking in and out. The housekeepers were efficient and unobtrusive. They were in and out when I wasn’t around. The room was kept spotless. Marble bathroom, wallpaper! beautiful furnishings. I watched the sunset every night from my room. A couple of glitches- internet TV didn’t work. I booked a massage and “Turkish bath” with tea service and a “ courtesy kit”. When I arrived for my appointment she wanted to give the massage before the bath. Seemed non sensical as the bath would wash off the massage cream. The “ bath” was a steam room, in which the benches were below the level of the steam so lying down was pretty useless. Nice sparkly lights. I had to request a towel, only one was offered which was soaked in the bath and then had to be used for the shower. High quality shampoo and conditioner. No tea or courtesy kit was offered. The massage was very relaxing and professional, but not deep tissue and the level of pressure was not inquired. The products in the room were lovely, a kettle and two bottles of water were provided( not replenished for the three days. ) I would have preferred a refillable glass water carafe and refillable bath products for a more ecological way to avoid plastic waste. The hotel was a luxurious way to experience Ortigia and the employees were top.

“Review on sunset cocktails”
Most amazing place for the most beautiful sunset and cocktails, great value given the view. We didn’t have a reservation and got there to enjoy something light to eat and drink, we had no idea how amazing it would be. Great appetisers. Service was friendly.

“Has it all”
Perfection parking in front one of the few that has ease of parking, its location right at the waterfront the breakfast with great views, nice room and ultimate service. Be sure to go down to the lowest level to see it’s small museum showing original building.
