First time in Mexico, this hotel is absolutely lovely, staff couldn’t do enough for you, rooms overlooking the beautiful beach, sunbeds brilliant all very comfortable, the sea is turquoise, food is very good, no fries though, outside of the hotel Is expensive. We had a couple of excursions which we thoroughly enjoyed and booked through the hotel, nothing is too much trouble. The only really disappointing thing I have to say is the airport, checked in good all very friendly. When we arrived in the shops however we had to pay $7 for a bottle of water and if you vape you have to pay $6 to go out and smoke I feel sorry for any families that go through when they have their water taken off them and then have to pay extortionate prices!! I think the government should look at this as it has Left a bad taste in my mouth to be honest. Also when you visit the lady island the Tarzan bar on the beach was charging 20 dollars for a sun bed !! I would go back tomorrow to this hotel It was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

As a disclaimer for this review- I am not a Four Seasons kinda traveler, but also not a Super 8 kinda gal. Resort was overall fairly nice. Staff was all very friendly. Water is so beautiful and breathtakingly blue, but red flags daily so couldn’t really swim while there. Pools are great but was a little chilly, mainly used the adult pool. Food-Italian restaurant dinner is awful and super small portions (which was ok bc my selection's were not good), but the breakfast was great! Asian restaurant was decent, still small portions. Make sure to order something off each menu section at the a la carte restaurants. Seafood lunch restaurant was decent- only tried the fish tacos and those were amazing after eating the Italian dinner the night before. Buffet is really not good and choices were all over the place and didn’t taste good. Very few protein items. I felt like I was eating bread and fruit and salad the whole time. Sidenote- you can ask your server for bacon and they will bring it to you. Waiting to get drink refills at the buffet takes a hot minute as well. Had a Master Suite room for 3 people, which worked well. I like the design and idea of the room, but dressers etc need to be updated and fixed. Sinks in bathroom are interesting, shower was great. Bed was super hard and all I could hear all night was the wind howling as I don’t think our sliding balcony doors were sealed properly. There is a resort app to use which I wasn’t told at check in, so never could order room service which was disappointing. I couldn’t login or get anything to work, so just gave up. We did use the spa which was ok. Our appointment was 15 minutes late and not really sure they added that time at the end, to be honest. I had an 80 minute Wayak session scheduled at 4pm, and I was finally taken back to change at 415. My massage probably didn’t start until 425 officially. When my massage was over and I opened my locker to change back into clothes, it was 536pm to be exact, so I feel like I was shorted 10-15 minutes. Didn’t change the cost at the end tho. I appreciated that they gave us water bottles in our rooms and had water fill stations around the resort. Alas, just an honest review. Would I stay there again? Probably so based on cost and location and amenities. But if I return to Cancun, I would probably try another resort TBH. A little off topic but something to note- when we arrived to resort, we immediately had to give the front concierge desk our passports to check, and then go over to front desk and give passports again. In all of that commotion, my E-Gate Customs receipt fell out (which I didn’t know until it was time to go back to the airport as my passport was locked in the safe our whole stay). Luckily, the gate agent at airport said it wasn’t a big deal and I had no issue getting back thru security. But I was freaked out my entire final night of our stay that it was lost.

We found this place last minute while searching for a vacation spot for our daughter’s college spring break. I can say without a doubt we will be back. We stayed in the villas and had a butler, which was a pleasant surprise. Alejandro was phenomenal. He made his reservations every night, I was always asking how our day was going and if we needed anything. Although we didn’t utilize things like room service, we had an incredible experience. The resort is smaller, which we liked. There’s always something to do, great food everywhere, and the staff really cares. The only difficult thing I found is that the cobblestone walkways are hard to walk on if you have mobility issues, and the beds are pretty small with no option for queen size only double or king. With that said, I don’t think that you’ll be disappointed unless you want a resort with miles of walking and 10+ restaurants. This is close enough to downtown that you could walk there or get on the bus. Lots of restaurant options on resort in just a very family friendly, even adult, friendly atmosphere.

“Ok”
Already described in one of earlier question. No additional comments. Room was good but service was not worth the additional price we paid for upgrade.
