My husband and I visited early Feb and knew we were taking a gamble with the weather being out of season.. We had sunshine and one day of rain so got lucky. We chose the hotel due to the beachfront location, it’s beautiful. The beach is literally on the doorstep with a boardwalk you can walk down to Alvor fishing village. The beaches are truly stunning. Alvor fishing village is very cute with traditional restaurants serving fish and other local dishes and prices are very reasonable. We would go back to the hotel. The staff could not be more helpful, Wanda and Jessica on reception was extremely helpful and friendly but the whole team could not do more for us! Luis in the restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we upgraded to a sea view for around €60 euros for a few nights which was so worth it. The views and hearing the ocean was perfect. Breakfast was good. Fresh and good selections and we went out for lunch and dinner. The day it rained we used the hotel spa facilities and they don’t charge you for the pool and sauna etc which a lot of Europe’s hotels do these days so this was very good. We had the most relaxing and wonderful trio and the hotel really is a gem if you want a beach location for stunning views and the ability to walk into town or book some trips. We will back.. thanks to all for a great trip with wonderful hospitality.

Great service from olena and Taha amazing amazing amazing amazing place, we enjoy our stay deeply. The view is fantastic and drinks just marvelous . The bar staff is just the top of the world and provide great service. Gggggggggggggffffffffffcccccc

“First time Golfing Holiday in Algarve”

This was our first time in Portugal. We stayed here for a week to play Golf at all Pestana Golf Resort courses & we had a great time. Fantastic hotel with nice service / super friendly helpful staff. The breakfast choices were outstanding, especially the fresh prepared omelettes and pancakes. The view of the ocean was stunning, great beach location and quick links to all the Golf Courses, the whole place has a good vibe /relaxed atmosphere. The Pestana Hotel Team were all excellent and looked after us. Had to re-arrange a couple of golf courses / tee times via Pestana Golf Resort rep Lilia at the Dom Joao II Hotel who was super helpful to accommodate this. Highly recommend this Hotel for any keen Golfers needing a mini break with sunshine, good food, and peaceful atmosphere. We will be back! :-)
