Overall, it is a great value-for-money hotel! The pool and grounds are the highlights of this hotel. The pool is large and was extremely quiet on weekdays when we were there, often with the pool to ourselves. The weekends are busier but still manageable, with plenty of sunbeds for all. One thing that must be highlighted is the lovely cabana and seating area, super comfy cushions, perfect for relaxing. The reception is modern, with lovely seating when waiting for your taxi. It has brilliant AC and lifts/elevators everywhere. The reception staff were fab, very friendly, and speedy. I had some communication over WhatsApp, which was super easy. The room is very much standard. It is very large for two people, with spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas. The bathroom again does the job and is clean. The AC works wonders in both the bedroom and living room. Cleaners were in every day; beds were made, places tidied, and washing up was done. The balcony was large and brilliant, and it had great views across the marina. Also, the location was fab. It was a 10-minute walk to the main strip of shops and restaurants and about the same into the town on the other side (defo check out Cletonina, casa da Rocha and Sushi & Go), but it meant that you were out in a quieter area. There's also a supermarket right by with good opening hours. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!

“Beautiful setting”

As always had another wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. The swimming pool and gardens are all well kept. The housekeepers were very friendly and came regularly to clean the apartment. In ideal location with a lovely cafe supermarket and patisserie nearby. Would highly recommend 😃

Superior hotel. All facilities available including kitchen, washing machine, dish washer. Separate spacious bathroom and bedroom. Large lounge area plus balcony with seating. Pool area excellent with lots of lounge chairs, umbrellas and lush lawn. Plenty of free underground parking. Staff friendly… more

Superior hotel. All facilities available including kitchen, washing machine, dish washer. Separate spacious bathroom and bedroom. Large lounge area plus balcony with seating. Pool area excellent with lots of lounge chairs, umbrellas and lush lawn. Plenty of free underground parking. Staff friendly, efficient and multi lingual. Rates excellent. There is a gym but no restaurant or bar on site (but plenty nearby). The free wi fi was a bit patchy, the hotel is about 800metres from the praia da rocha and 10 o'clock check out is a bit early but these are minor compared to what is provided. Would have stayed longer if had the time.

“Large well equipped apartments.”

This is the third time we have been to these apartments and although it is a bit of a walk through a residential area to the town, the large well equipped apartments with their spacious river view balconies attracted us back. Don’t think we will return, however. Why? £250 deposit charged on arrival… more

This is the third time we have been to these apartments and although it is a bit of a walk through a residential area to the town, the large well equipped apartments with their spacious river view balconies attracted us back. Don’t think we will return, however. Why? £250 deposit charged on arrival. Very poor Wi-Fi only really available outside apartment. 12 sunloungers at large pool. 10 o’clock check out. Last day at pool spent with noise of chainsaw and branches from trees falling all over area as they were trimmed.
