This hotel has secured parking, good wifi, both an interior patio and and exterior terrace with beautiful grounds and a lovely clean pool. It's Andalusian style (white with tile roof) and sort of an enclosed compound yet has views of the sea. Easy walking distance to the longest beach on the Atlantic side (Cossta se la Luz) and to town. Quiet, excellent breakfast, helpful staff and not the overblown tourism one finds in Costa del Sol. We walked and walked, went to a neighborhood flamenco concert FREE!, ate excellent food, roamed the casco viejo and appreciated the calm, homey aspects of this former fishing town.

It’s outside the city, which makes it a quite place to rest, but close enough to the beach to go by walking. Definitely, a hotel to revisit.

Attractive quaint hotel in a quiet setting on the edge of the town with plenty of in-house parking, beautiful garden and good sized pool. The rooms are spotlessly clean and with lots of light. The staff are friendly and always helpful and ready to give you ideas for spending your time, and the service is great. It's about a 15 minute walk from the old town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and less than 10 minutes walking to the beach going through a lovely pine tree grove. Will definitely return! Thank you all at Diufain!

After dropping off our son and daughter-in-law at nearby El Palmar for a friend's wedding and having paid an incredibly low price for this hotel we did not know what exactly to expect. Upon arrival we were extremely surprised at the beautiful entrance and elegance of the main building and the 2 adjacent buildings. Also having come from cities where parking was a challenge at our hotels we welcomed the openness and spaciousness of the parking facilities. Upon check-in(very easy) we realized there were no elevators but the building being only 3 floors made it a non issue. Nevertheless a young man helped us carry our luggage to our room in the 2nd floor and was very happy with a small tip. The room, although not very large in size, was impeccable and looked brand new as did the bathroom. The t. v. had great reception as did the free Wi-Fi and the air conditioning was more than sufficient. The breakfast room was very spacious and the variety of items was adequate and the price was very cheap. There was a very nice courtyard and an enormous pool and garden area with bar-b-q facilities and plenty of lounge chairs. You could walk straight down to the beach from across the street of the hotel, an approximate 10 minute walk. Even though there are not too many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel (I remember 2) the very nice historical old town is only a 10 minute at most drive with many restaurants, bars, shops, grocery store, gelato, etc. There is plenty of free parking along the beach front promenade where there are many flea market type shops. If it is hard to find a parking spot there is a huge parking lot where volunteers collect 1 euro for their charity. Overall a very festive atmosphere and great beach if you can stand the Atlantic's cold water. Being from Miami we did not try it. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area and would stay there again. It is about a 30 minute drive to Cadiz and to Jerez de la Frontera both of which we visited while at Conil.

Conil de la Frontera is a strange place - a traditional, slightly run-down fishing town around a harbour but with a spacious modern ring of development laid out around the periphery. The Hotel Diufain is on the broad, little-used highway laid-out through the new section on the way to the beach settlements at La Fontanilla and Fuente de Gallo. It is a modern hotel built in the white plaster and red roof tile Andalusian style on a large plot which retains a country feel. There is an outdoor pool, pool bar, lovely gardens and a section at the back which meanders into the countryside. There is plenty of parking, some undercover, and it's a 15-20 minute walk into town. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with very small balconies - there are other balcony/ terrace areas which can be used and the area around the pool is nice. The air conditioning worked fine and the buffet breakfast was quite good. The room rate was very reasonable although breakfast was extra.
