I travelled with my wife and unfortunately missed our transfer at Barcelona airport. We managed to work out the local bus times, which took 3 hours to get there but we went through the center of Barcelona which was beautiful. The hotel was in an excellent location with restaurants either side of the main entrance and a short walk to the lovely narrow street center. We went bed and breakfast, the breakfast was served from 08.00 till 13.00 which was ideal as we had many a late night. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were cleaned every day. We had a great vacation with our friends and are planning a return visit next year.

“Great place for enjoying the sea view and being close to the beach without making miles”

It was really nice place, friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned daily and everyday we got fresh set of towels. We got slippers, toothbrush with toothpaste (if someone forgot) and tiny body cream as a welcome gift. Room has TV, small refrigerator, electric kettle, (cups, coffee, tea, sugar all included on the table, refilled daily) there is airco and a fan to cool off. On the facility there is solarium, gym, saunas (dry and wet), really small swimming pool but it didn’t matter for us. They have pretty big patio for sunbathing and gorgeous view for sea! We had option with breakfast and we were not dissapointed, full english breakfast, fresh juice, veggies, jams with no sugar and gluten free bread. Wine and champagne (!) There was booklet with fun activities in other hotels from the same company (we didn’t chcecked them) We rented beach towels and had fun. Only issue is the restaurants under that closes at 23:00, at this time you can hear the staff moving tables and chairs. In the morning they open after 8:00. Around 6 in the morning a tractor is cleaning the beach and it takes usually an hour, but when the balcony door is closed it’s not so troubling. We had room on the first floor so we heard everything clearly, but for us it’s not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great spot for week or so, we had a room on the 2nd floor facing the sea & we were sent off to sleep each night by the sound of the crashing waves 50mtrs away, We booked B&B which is actually Breakfast/Brunch from 08:00 to 13:00 with plenty of choice including all the wine you want. Staff were very helpful & rooms a cleaned daily incl clean towels. One sore point was the very rude chef we experienced on the morning of our departure, we had to meet the shuttle bus at 06:20 & informed the receptionist of this the night before who kindly offered to have a cold breakfast ready for us, we declined & told her we'd just grab a quick coffee before we left. We came to reception the next morning & walked to the nearby coffee/tea machine only to be loudly shouted at by a very rude chef, "No Señor No No" he bellowed , I informed him we just required some tea & coffee "No No" he bellowed again whilst waving his arms about, this guy needs to be spoken to by management about his attitude.

The position of this lovely little Hotel is superb, right on the sea front with only the promenade between. The resort had a great buzz to it, especially on the weekend when all the cafes were full of people, busy but not rowdy. A ten minute walk takes you to the bus station and access to other resorts, and the same distance to the lovely square with the church. Our room on the 5th floor had a brilliant view of the beach and sea, with a lovely big balcony. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety and seating outside if you like. We had half board, so evening meal was taken in one of the other Rosamar hotels, just round the corner. Again, plenty of variety with chef bringing fresh dishes out and display cooking. The pool is small but we used it every day and also the sauna and gym..both free of charge. And last but not least, the lovely staff who were all so pleasant and helpful. They all worked so well together, as a team, and seemed happy in their work.
