“not a five star hotel for like a three”
We stayed at this hotel when it was owned by Inter Continental 15 years ago and it was a five star hotel superb! Unfortunately over time its got tatty and needs a complete overhaul. We stayed at this hotel when it was owned by Inter Continental 15 years ago and it was a five star hotel superb! Unfortunately over time its got tatty and needs a complete overhaul. Our room was overlooking the pool with a balcony and essentially its exactly the same as before but nothing has been upgraded. The shower flooded the bathroom as it didn't run away as the drain was blocked the ceiling fan didn't work and the aircon was so noisy you couldn't have it on at night. The best thing was the evening meal which was fantastic not so for the breakfast. the three coffee machines (i hate those things!) were all broken with error messages showing on all. The poor girls ((only 2 members of staff) couldn't fix them. The food at breakfast was adequate the only fresh fruit that was cut up was water melon slices no other fruit there also wasnt any natural yoghurt - I could go on and on. I am disappointed as my memory of this hotel has now been erased with this visit. The staff were lovely though they just need more of them!
