“Decent accommodation, but need a car”
Nice, clean, spacious, serviceable room with TV, aircon, & hot water. The outside area at the back of the Hostal was a pleasant, lawned garden. However, you definitely need a car, as the Hostal is on the busy, main road & there are no nearby amenities. The beach is across the busy road, and when we… more
Nice, clean, spacious, serviceable room with TV, aircon, & hot water. The outside area at the back of the Hostal was a pleasant, lawned garden. However, you definitely need a car, as the Hostal is on the busy, main road & there are no nearby amenities. The beach is across the busy road, and when we stayed, it was so windy, which made the walk along the beach a chore. But, you can see why its a haven for kite-surfing. Overpriced for the location, especially as breakfast was not included.

“Great base for exploring Tarifa area.”
I stayed in El Levante with a group of birdwatching friends. It suited our needs brilliantly. I stayed in El Levante with a group of birdwatching friends. It suited our needs brilliantly. We had been concerned that it may be noisy as it was on the N340 road, however many of the rooms faced a really lovely lawned garden at the back and it was very quiet at night. The rooms were simply furnished and spotlessly clean. They had a fridge and tea making facilities [which in my experience is unusual in Spain]. The staff were helpful and friendly - and the gentleman who looked after the garden, charming - and always keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Most rooms had a terrace with chairs and a table and it was very relaxing to sit and enjoy the views to the rear of the property.

“Simple but Comfortable”
Stayed here for one night on my way to Tangier with my 2 kids. Rooms simple yet clean and comfortable. “Perfectly quiet spot- but a busy road”
We stayed for an overnight as we were in transit to Malaga. The hotel would be great if you had access to a car. Hot and superb water pressure! Good deal for the price.

“very average accomodation”
it is very average accomodation with standard quality. One cannot expect anything special - just for one night on a way. If one wants to explore Tarifa, I suggest to find out something there (El Levante is ca 10km away); if one looks for sunbathing, I recommend Bolonia with Playade Bolonia
