At first, we booked the Hostal Doña Lola Marina, but we changed our minds when we saw the property. Since we would stay only for 1 night, we paid the price difference and went to Doña Lola Hotel instead. 👍🏻 We just loved the location; in the town centre, but super close to the beach and right next to the main road exit. 👍🏻 Breakfast buffet was so generous! A wide variety of coffee, bread, pastry, eggs, cheese and charcutery, fruit, cereal, jams, milk etc. 👍🏻 Room was spacious and full of light. Very quiet at night. Lovely pool view and big balcony. Bathroom had 1 bathtub and 1 shower (!). 👍🏻 Room amenities did not dissapoint. Fresh towels, shampoo and body gel, hairdryer and the fluffiest pillows we've ever rested our heads on. 👎🏻 Rules and regulations were only in spanish. It would be really thoughtful to include information in english as well. 👎🏻 Staff was very polite and helpful, but they seemed overworked and very tired/stressed. We could not help but notice. 👎🏻 Long wait for check-in, considering the hotel category. Check-in process was always interrupted by something else (phone calls, other guests, other staff).

“Lovely hotel but bedroom lighting an issue for me”

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Zahara. The public areas and pool are light and spacious and we had a lovely large, modern room with a very confortable bed and great bathroom. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Zahara. The public areas and pool are light and spacious and we had a lovely large, modern room with a very confortable bed and great bathroom. However there was a green light above the bedroom door ( apparently emergency lighting) we had a lobby between this door and the bedroom but the light shining through the glass panelled door meant that the bedroom was slightly illuminated all night, as I like a dark room I found it difficult to sleep. I did ask at reception and understood that all rooms have the same lighting. Parking is expensive at €15 per day ... park in the beach car park instead for €2 A shame as apart from the bedroom light problem we liked the hotel and breakfast was good.

“Good location, large room”

The hotel is situated in the centre, a few minutes by foot to the beach. We found free carparking space just around the corner. Our room was large, great bathroom, safe and a balcony. The hotel is situated in the centre, a few minutes by foot to the beach. We found free carparking space just around the corner. Our room was large, great bathroom, safe and a balcony. The pool was refreshing but we never found out how to turn on the jaccuzi. It wasn't easy to communicate with the reception. They spoke absolutely only spanish. The breakfast didn't look very great so we took a lovely spanish breakfast just outside the hotel.

This hotel is decorated with typical Spanish style. Common space are nice and large Room is spacy and really comfortable This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach Private parking is possible, a little hard to find, because is not near the hotel Breakfast is good coffee is Nespresso Recommend.
