This is the 5th time staying at this hotel and we love it, will definitely be coming back, it is ideally situated with the beach across the road if you prefer, it is a nice stroll to the marina, the rooms are decent size with plenty of plug sockets. We had a spacious bathroom with walk in shower, double bed, air conditioning that was quiet even when left on through night. The food was great with plenty of choice, we were all inclusive, the drinks were plentiful with a wide choice to choose from including slush. The staff were all very pleasant and willing to help, even when queues got long they didnt stress and always greeted everyone with a smile. As we was leaving the manager asked if we had enjoyed our stay and what our opinions were to improve our experience of our stay if we came back. That was appreciated as he really listened and explained the hotels future vision. Top Hotel

We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and thought it was “just OK”. The hotel situation is very good (although it is on quite a steep hill) which will not suit everyone. The staff were lovely and the room was always clean but the overall experience was just OK as the food let it down badly so we (and many others) ended up eating out most nights. We returned this year for a 10 day holiday and the change to the food was amazing. We ate 3 meals a day for our 10 day holiday and always found something to suit our taste. I heard someone say they couldn’t find anything to eat - it did make me wonder what they did actually did eat as there was always fish, meats (chicken, pork, beef etc) and eggs, pizza and pasta dishes and a good supply of vegetables. They also did Spanish, Italian, Chinese etc nights each week. Would we go back - absolutely. The only things I would like changed is the “extras” - WiFi is roughly 7 Euros a day which seems a lot of money so we just went into a bar for a drink when we needed access to free WiFi. Other people also told us that the WiFi was actually “poor quality”. The safe also had to be paid for which is quite unusual now as most places have digital safes which are free to use. After speaking to other people they were of the same opinion that they would prefer all the “extras” just to be included in the holiday price so you know exactly where you stand before you arrive. Would I stay there again - absolutely.

The only single bedroom was very dated ,had no balcony or patio or view and was very dated, like a cell. The food was really good for the price and a great selection 👌. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the ladies on the pool bar who were exceptional and still smiling. The entertainment was what you would expect with the exception of the flamenco show which was excellent. On our last night, we were celebrating a birthday and the hotel was full, we asked could we sit together and dress a table with decorations etc,the staff were really helpful and had cava in ice buckets on the table, which was lovely 😍 We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

I would love to be in a position to give this hotel 5 stars, but it's not quite there yet. We stayed for a week in July, and barr some very minor hiccups, our stay was superb! The hotel is well located, a very short distance from the picturesque promenade to the marina. We were in the older part of the hotel, which does need updating, and I was happy to hear it will happen in the next year. We did experience occasions of our air con breaking down, but the staff and maintenance were excellent, and efficient in dealing with it, so it didn't impede too much on our stay. One downside of the air-conditioning was it was very noisy and hot on the balcony, and it did take away from being able to sit on the balcony for too long-great for drying clothes though, and my hair, as there was no hair dryer in our room. What makes this hotel spectacular is the little things, like receptionist Victoria's warm abd welcoming smile, barmaid Laura remembering our drinks order, and the hardest working animacion team I've ever seen-they deserve fulls full marks! Honda, Lolli, Matthias and Kobe did the most incredible job of offering games throughout the day. The games were really fun, and I feel they would be super particularly foe single parent families, as adults and children partake together. It's a great way to make friends and memories together! Winners a chosen from adults and also from kids at the end, so it's really fair. Later in the evening, the team then offer two shows, one more geared towards children, a certificate ceremony, and after, another family friendly themed show. They always brought the same consistent "let's have a great time" energy, every single day. It was admirable. Loved learning dances with Henda, and she was super for remembering everyone's names! All-Inclusive was as you would expect...somethings you like, somethings not so much....but certainly, a huge array of choice and no reason for anyone to be hungry. Breakfast had cereals, fruit, pastries, breads, salads and a chef alternating between fresh crepes, omelette and fried eggs. Lunch and dinner options were somewhat similar to each other, salads, soups, usually a paella, a pasta station and range of sauces, pizza, bbq food outside, large range of fish options, and desserts. Even if its a mix n match you won't be hungry. All in all, the wonderful team at Palia la Roca were exceptional! They are the reason we will be back! Well done, and thank you to you all for your hard work. We cannot wait to go back for longer next year!
