Green Ocean are a cheap hotel with two floors. There a a lot of stairs at the hotel area. All rooms are 2 rooms, One bedroom in a good size with two beds, a kitchen niche, a bathroom with shower and a bathtub. own water heater. A living room with a sofabed, and a dinning table. In the kitchen there are glasses, plates and cutlery for 3 persons. Outside you will find a small table and 3 chairs. Some apartments are very worm, but cleaning 5 times in a week are very good, Most people speaks Spanish only. Reception are open at 9 AM, very late for breakfast, but you have only 600 meters to a center where you can bay every thing. there are also a good area wit two pools and a lot of loungers, a very nice place, also a pool bar if needed :-) No Fan, no Aircon at the room, you need to pay for Internet and safty box. the area around the hotel are very quietly, even with a main street just 100 meter from the place. You have a bridge over the road very near to the hotel and only about 300 meters to the beach. Very good parking area just 60 meters from the hotel, also parking on the road in front of the hotel.

Basic but rooms are clean and tidy recent repaint in our room/Roof POOL area is great sun from 8 till 8 bar was closed sat and sun /rooms 21 to 56 have clearer views towards beach /Poor points are no cold water in was hand basin a child could be burned /shower head does not fit holder /we were in room 62 but trees cover balcony so no outlook/ Cheap base to stay. nice walk to beach and playa over bridge /advise get taxi back from playa/ the luggage ramps are very steep /would go back but not to rooms 1 to 20/or 57 to 64 /Shop on site does not have much / WAS NOT CHARGED FOR LATE CHECKOUT SO HAD ROOM TILL 18.00 /////// WE HAD LATE CHECK IN RECEPTION CLOSED /OUR NAME ON DOOR WITH ROOM NUMBER /KEY LEFT ON A HOOK / NO DETAILS OF WHAT IS AVAILABLE IN HOTEL GIVEN AT ANY TIME

“Holiday base”

It's a 2 star (keys) and it shows. Do not expect modern fittings, air con etc but the beds are comfortable and the fridge works. It's a 2 star (keys) and it shows. Do not expect modern fittings, air con etc but the beds are comfortable and the fridge works. If the shower/water could have stayed in place/warmer a bit longer it would have made the stay that bit better. Don't bother with TV unless you are German. The Manager is seriously unhelpful. 1st week of Sept the place was empty and we had the pool to ourself but just across the bridge (good for building your calves up) is a good clean beach and sea. The whole place seriously needs updating but it is what it is, decent base in a good location.

Positives - it's across the road from a really nice beach from which you can walk along the promenade to Playa des Ingles in 20 mins. The pool area is good and you can easily get a lounger and there's a little bar serving reasonably priced drinks and snacks. The staff are friendly and you do get towels and bedding changed during your stay. Negatives - it's very basic and could really do with an update, the towels were old and frayed and the kitchen was very small and again basic. There's no aircon but you can hire a fan and to use wifi, you also have to pay. I probably wouldn't stay there again however, as long as you are prepared for it to be basic, it's fine to stay to there.
