“Fantastic place”
I booked this holiday for myself and my sister, we arrived and weren't disappointed, lovely and clean, staff were very polite and friendly. I booked this holiday for myself and my sister, we arrived and weren't disappointed, lovely and clean, staff were very polite and friendly. The accommodation was on two levels just like a one bedroomed house, maids in every day with clean towels n bed linen changed every other day, this holiday was self catering but it had its own restaurant on the front with live entertainment and the food was excellent, the pool was lovely and clean and the food from the snack bar was delicious, more than enough sun loungers for everyone and also because on 2 levels there wasn't much shade so brilliant for sun worshippers, would have loved to go back there, but we were told it is going to be demolished as a new hotel is going to be built there which is totally heart breaking as it is a tradional Spanish style complex with character, not everyone wants all inclusive as probably the new hotel will be, thankyou for the opportunity to have been able to stay at the Jardin Del Sol Apts, I wish all the staff best wishes for the future. “Lovely little place don't be put off by negatives”
Ignore the bad reviews people!!!..... Lovely little place. It's basic but clean. Can't fault it for the hotel rating. Rented a fan and kept windows open and curtains drawn to stop sun light in used small towels over the little windows to keep it dark and cool. My son loved the pool. I did had to g… more
Ignore the bad reviews people!!!..... Lovely little place. It's basic but clean. Can't fault it for the hotel rating. Rented a fan and kept windows open and curtains drawn to stop sun light in used small towels over the little windows to keep it dark and cool. My son loved the pool. I did had to get up early before 9am to get a sunbed as lots of Germans were here monopolising the place but hey ho it is what it is. As we stayed for two weeks we didn't get bit... Not once!!! I didn't rent a parasol or cushions for the terrace as it was just me and my son I used the comfy chair and brought it out on the terrace. Snack bar is ok not much for vegetarians as I'm vegi just chips but as it was a self-catering holiday I improvised. Saff around the pool were polite life guard was smiley and greeted me and my son a bonus was we could have inflatables in the pool... Just be careful with the steps in the apartment I slipped and fell down them wearing flip flops/ crocs because it hurt like hell!!... Only ate at the restaurant once. Supermarket and other shops are close by and in walking distance. Our apartment looked over onto riu and there was a karaoke bar underneath our place good thing was is I'm deaf so sound didn't bother me lol...

“New ownership”
Just been told by the rep that it is closing on 17th of oct for a year as it has been bought by another company and they're adding another 72 apartments and it will be 4 star all inclusive. Which is a shame as it is a lovely place that we regularly visit.
