Amazing hotel, great cactus gardens, our room was great with a wonderful view of the ocean. There is a great choice for food. The spa is amazing with 3 different saunas and a cold pool. The entertainment in the piano bar was great, but the live performances in the other bar were not good and we didn't stay for them. Alongside the pool can get really busy but we went at the end of February and it was okay. One of the pools is heated.

Well, where do I start! From checking in to leaving we had a wonderful experience. Checking in we were offered a glass of Cava or a glass of water each, we had the Cava! The reception area is beautiful with wooden staircase and balcony's. We decided on this hotel because of all the great reviews and it was a special holiday for my husbands 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. They gave my husband a bottle of Cava on his birthday and in the evening they had a special table for us laid with beautiful flowers from the garden, along with another bottle of Cava and then after dinner they brought him a birthday cake and sang. The next day we found another bottle of Cava outside our room, we did ring reception as we thought they had made a mistake but they said that's fine enjoy! We can not thank them enough for making his birthday so special. The staff are all lovely, polite, hard working and always willing to help. From the chefs cooking the fresh fish and meat to the staff replacing trays of food, cleaners, bar staff, gardeners, entertainment. The food is plentiful, so much choice and as I've already said fresh fish and meats cooked to your order and liking, superb! We had a room as requested with sea views and it was clean and fresh, the bed was so comfy we slept like babies. The room was cleaned every day. The entertainment was very good with a different act every night and there is also a piano bar which had different pianists and was very relaxing. We went All Inclusive so all drinks and food were available and a good section. We would definitely return for some winter sun, we were lucky the sun shone every day. The hotel reception staff were so helpful they booked our tickets for the Teguise market. We also did the South island tour which was interesting and worth booking.

This was our first visit to Los Jameos and it did not disappoint. Our expectations were exceeded on every level. The hotel is beautifully appointed with a stunning reception/foyer area and equally stunning gardens/pool area. We were aware the hotel was scheduled to close for refurbishment (we left on Sunday 2nd March, the last day) however our room was very well appointed and the hotel throughout was exceptionally clean and well maintained. However, like all good holiday experiences they are made by experiencing good service. The staff we interacted with throughout out our stay were professional, friendly and without exception enthusiastic about the hotel and the service they were providing. We would like to give a special thanks to Carmen Rosa who provided us with outstanding service every day at lunch in the pool bar. Finally, our compliments to everyone involved with the food and drinks service in the main restaurant. We found the selection and quality of the food exceptional. The chefs on the food stations served up the food with a real enthusiasm. Our dining experience was great. We wish to thank everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. Hopefully we can return to experience the refurbished hotel. Good luck.

“In need of a refresh”

We’ve visited the hotel several times over the years but this was the first one for some time. It’s clear the hotel is in need of the planned refurbishment which I hope is more than a facelift. We’ve visited the hotel several times over the years but this was the first one for some time. It’s clear the hotel is in need of the planned refurbishment which I hope is more than a facelift. Our first ’superior’ room was very tired and a little grubby. The worst thing though was the hit and miss hot water. We reported this to reception 5 times with responses ranging from flippant to promises of repair. Maintenance attended 4 times but it became ominously obvious they had no idea what the problem was. We expected to be moved but no offer was made until we demanded it several days in. Our new room seemed to be as far away from reception as it was possible to be - no doubt not intentionally. The food was good but, as with most buffet hotels, became monotonous. Plenty of sun beds but with the usual early morning rush. Will be interested to see the improvements.
