I travelled with my husband and daughter, and my mother who is in her 70's. The majority of the people staying at the hotel were of the older generation, and the evening entertainment is mainly geared towards them. We all however enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The view of the sea from the pool and some rooms is beautiful. It's just outside the centre of Puerto del Carmen and not so hilly. The room that we stayed in was modern and clean. Some have a bath with a shower and other rooms have a walk in shower. The restaurant had something for everyone. The only downside to the restaurant, was that we sometimes struggled to find a table for 4 as they were often reserved. The staff were helpful and pleasant. I've seen reviews saying that they were rude. We didn't find this at all - I guess it depends on how you speak to them first! One waiter at the snackbar was a "challenge" to make smile but we got there :-) Plenty of sunbeds and we went during UK half term. Both pools were great and there is enough shade if you need it. All in all a lovely stay.

My husband and I recently returned from a two week stay at this hotel. It was at least our 4th visit but sadly this time things weren’t quite as good as before. As mentioned, we have visited at least four times, the last time being in November 2023. On that occasion we were given a really warm welcome at check in and during the holiday, on one of the days we returned to our room, there was a bottle of cava in an ice bucket waiting for us and a thank you note for revisiting, which was much appreciated. This time however, nothing like that. In fact no recognition at all that we were returning guests. Our room was 0620 and on reflection I wish we had asked to change it. The steps up and down were just too many over a two week stay and my husband has had heart bypass surgery. From our room to the restaurant we had to go up and down 63 steps not to mention the walk between these stairs and there were not lifts to cover them all. But the real disappointment was when I had to get the Front Desk to request a Doctor visit my husband as he was experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhoea. The Doctor also visited the following day to check on him but sadly at no point did any of the staff ask if my husband was ok or if we needed help with anything. I also suffered from the virus but fortunately not as bad and didn’t require a Doctor but a phone call to the room or a note under the door would have meant a great deal to us. Again when we checked out, the service was disappointing as all the staff member said was “There’s nothing to pay!”. What about “We hope you enjoyed your stay?” or “Look forward to seeing you again” or simply “Safe journey home. Having said all of the above, we did enjoy our stay, the food was excellent as always and Felix in the restaurant was lovely and really looked after us. Not sure if we’ll be back at the moment. I sent this feedback to the hotel directly but disappointingly I didn’t get any reply hence this post.

My first time staying in this hotel. The location is excellent with proximity to the airport, beach and town area. The room was generally very clean. However, the bathroom had no ventilation and had a constant damp smell. We requested extra cleaning and this only offered temporary improvement, but it needs some ventilation to eliminate the problem. The buffet dining for breakfast is OK, but for lunch and dinner it is no where near the level required for the four star rating that the hotel advertises and requires a serious upgrade. We had a half-board stay, but decided to eat in the local restaurants instead. Overall the hotel staff are very good and the hotel offers very nice facilities, but it is in need of a significant refresh to bring it up to a four star experience. Finally, the hotel seems more suitable for the 'older traveller'. While I am in my early 60's, I did feel that the hotel caters to an even older demographic (although this may be due to the February timing).

Best thing about this hotel is the 15-20 mins from airport. Best thing about this hotel is the 15-20 mins from airport. Got to the hotel room not ready says 1400 we were there at 12.30 far enough booked a limited sea view room and we were so dissapointed well here we go room 2711 room was adequate barr no bath refurb required went on small balcony tennis courts (tennis woke us up every morning)mountain and yes limited sea view but no sun all day nb hotel was full they said . No sun major issue for us then bar prices are a disgrace entertainment this time round very poor and resturant for breakfast and evening like a cattle market so so busy so our 3rd and last visit cannot fault the staff loved the heated pools n sea view s but too many negatives this time around
