We decided upon vista mar after reading the excellent reviews and they didn’t disappoint it was absolutely fabulous We had an upstairs apartment with amazing views and although it was hard getting the luggage to the top once there it was absolutely worth it The apartments are spotlessly clean with a great range of kitchen equipment The beds are comfy, there is plenty of wardrobe space and hangers There is a hair dryer and iron which you don’t often see in apartments The pool area is lovely and clean though very deep all the way round 7 foot I think so possibly wouldn’t suit young children but we didn’t mind it The staff are lovely and friendly and the cleaners do a fantastic job Also a little bar two doors down owned by Danny which is also fabulous so you don’t have to walk far not owned by vista mar but is a fab addition to the area

Just back from staying in this lovely little secluded apartments. spotless,clean and in a lovely location just up from old town and strip. so when we arrived we were advised reception would be closed as we arrived late sunday evening. we were previously emailed regarding code for gate entrance and there would be an envelope with our room number and all information. when we got into our apartment we just went wow it was so large and spacious apartment 36 with what i can only describe as the best scenic view ever of the ocean. the apartments were kept spotless by the cleaners who did there work spotlessly and great attention to detail towels and bedding was changed on a regular basis also bins emptied for you also. the reception were more than helpful in any thing you asked for ,like asking for direction and booking taxi,s the pool its self was just refeshing around 7ft deep all round and cleaned every morning. the sun beds were ok a bit hard for me but bought sunbed cushion from the shop across the road which made it more comfortable the whole complex was just perfect in everyway. also the spar was just across the road for supplies . i would recommend this complex to anyone of thinking of getting away to puerto del carmen . i will 100% be back to this complex . also would just to thank everyone ,reception,cleaners, and staff that made our holiday Great

“THE BEST HOLIDAY !”

Let me start by saying thank you!! We have an amazing holiday! We arrived late in the day due to transfers being full and then to find out it was 15 mins from the airport and could have just got a taxi for about €22 On arrival we was very confused how to get into the gate as we was not given any other information we was just dropped off outside the spar We walked round and found the pool where the main reception is but it was closed I saw my name on a envelope so asked someone who was still by the pool to open the gate not an issue once we was in We found our apartment 16 which is ground floor pool view! Can I just say it was perfect and I will 100% go back in that apartment again as it was so big! The apartment had everything you could think of including lovely cold bottled water which was very much needed! ( such a lovely touch) Got our Wi-Fi all hooked up and although it’s slow I didn’t care one bit myself and my partner was there for our very first holiday together so our company was enough but we still could watch netflix and play music on YouTube We headed to spar to buy our bits and bobs came back and headed to mc Donald’s as it was late and we was so tired so we grabbed our food headed back to the apartment ate then unpacked and chilled Can I say uk McDonald’s will never hit the same) 😂 Next moring we was up at 5am headed out at 9 down the strip for breakfast we found nothing was open till 10ish but we had enough time to look around and get used to the place Our breakfast cost €12 i had a cocktail and a full English he a had a full English a coffee and a beer ! So bloody cheep To get a rough idea we took €1400 and came back with nothing as we done everything ! Swam with sea lions, jet skis, went on a boat trip with a all you can drink bar and a lovely meal with fruit Water sports and we ate and drank so much! Our recommendation is called di Vinci close to old town They was so lovely they made the best payella it wernt dry or sogy! And a little more pricy to the strip but worth it ! Our evening meal with drinks starters and mains was coming to €60-€70 We’re a young couple and we felt the most romantic place is serenity the views the vibes the food was just perfect!!!! Back to the apartment The pool was 7ft deep the whole way but was warm as the sun shines on it all day Our place got the sunshine until 7:30pm We would sit outside our door as we had a table and chairs and a clothes rail and an ashtray ( thank god!!!!) There’s no poolside bar and that’s fine cos the shop is across the road as is the bus stop and everything else is walking distance We quite liked the fact that we was not given any rules apart from be respectful Everyone we spoke to was lovely and we even made friends with 3 lady’s from up north !! They were wicked ! We can say it was the best holiday I’ve ever been on Everything was perfect! I’m thinking of booking for us and the kids for April 😁 And then again in September

“Lovely holiday”

Lovely clean basic apartments, close to restaurants and shops. Pool not suitable for children as no shallow end. Would have been better if the bedrooms had a full length mirror, only mirror was in the bathroom and living area. Going back again this year.
