“Birthday holiday celebration”

Stayed at BQ for 2 weeks from 23rd September, weather was hot and sunny apart from a storm overnight which brought high winds and torrential rain leaving debris on the streets and rough seas for the morning after. Hotel is spotlessly clean and bright nice big reception area with helpful and pleasant staff. We paid tourist tax 72.60 euros on arrival for 2 of us. Stayed on B&B basis, breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choice of hot & cold options, coffee machines, fruit juice machines, also fresh juices on the counter each day, Large Nutella dispenser was popular, eggs , omelettes to order, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage, beans, large choice cooked meats and salads. Buns and pastries. There are 2 large pools (one is a 1 minute walk across the road from reception with a nice snack bar and drinks) we used both and there were plenty of sun loungers, there was a nice bar in the hotel lounge where you got daytime drinks too for around the pool, and evening entertainment which we didn’t see as we were always in the town. Our room 435 was adequate great bathroom area with powerful shower, bedrooms are a bit on the small side when you have to store your cases, ample wardrobe and shelving, nice big balcony with clothes drying lines, only downside was our room did not get any sun all day therefore we struggled to dry beachwear and towels. The Jet2 rep Alfa was most helpful with any questions or problems and sorted out our damaged luggage. Its only 5 minutes to the main beach, shops, bars & restaurants. We had lovely meals at Monaco, La Pinta, The London Bar, Vinicius, Trotters Bar, the pizzas across from the hotel Can Montevideo were amazing and they did lots more food choices. Hong Kong Great Chinese restaurant, all at reasonable prices as were the drinks. Would definitely return as hotel is in a great location but would request a sunny room.

“Pre winter break”
Really clean rooms, very attentive staff, food was great. Very good facilities and well situated, only a short walk to the beach 🏖️ Highly recommend and will be back for another stay 👍 ****************************************************

“great place”
this hotel is spotlessly clean and in a great location but quiet at night. checkin was very good and welcoming. the pool area is relaxed and plenty of sun beds. we upgraded from b and b to half board and it was a good choice as the food was first class.

“A wonderful stay”

As soon as we arrived we felt at home, we arrived in the late evening, but check in was quick and everything was explained fully. We had two rooms on the 5th floor, ours was 509 and didn't have the greatest view but we could see the sea in the distance, it didn't really matter as we weren't planning to spend a great deal of time in the room. my other two friends were opposite us in 525, they had a view of the pool and the sea was closer to them. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was a good size with amble wardrobe space for a week's holiday. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a large shower which always had hot water. There was shampoo and shower gel supplied along with a bar of soap. A good size wash basin too, with a hairdryer. We bought our own kettles as they don't have one in the room but you can hire them for a charge. The fridge was small but if you took the shelves out you could fit a 6litre bottle of water in there, plus a few other things. The breakfast was one of the best I have experienced, I really don't think anyone couldn't be happy with how plentiful it was. there was a station that cooked omelettes and fried eggs, every kind of milk was available for all allergies and a great selection of pastries and fruits. there was always tables free and we usually ate at 8.30. the restaurant was very clean and the staff so efficient at clearing the dishes away. We ate at evening time once as we were only B&B, we paid 22 euros for the buffet and were not disappointed, again so plentiful. There was a microwave if the food wasn't quite hot enough, but we didn't use it. We went to the entertainment a few nights and enjoyed it, there was a soul singer one night and he was fantastic. BQ is so central, the beach is only a 5 minute walk, Aldi is about 3 minutes away and you can get all your supplies there, the buses run very regularly and stops just past Aldi. There are so many restaurants along the seafront that you can choose from and we tried a good few of them. Would I recommend this hotel? most defiantly, All the staff work so hard and all so polite, nothing is too much and go out of their way to help in anyway they can. I hope to make a return trip next year. Thank you BQ Can Picafort we had the best time with you.

Hotel is situated in a good location for beach, shops, restaurants and buses, up the hill by Aldi bus stop. Friendly welcome on arrival, hotel spotlessly clean in all locations, bedrooms are on the small side but bedding clean and comfy bed. Downside is no coffee machine or kettle as I have always had in other 4 star hotels. Pool areas again very clean, 2 pools one in main hotel one in annexe area across the rd to right of hotel which serves snacks at lunchtime, neither pools are heated and I found the one in the annexe area slightly warmer than the other pool. Food very well presented, of a good quality and variety replenished quickly both at Breakfast and Evening meal. Restaurant staff friendly especially Fiamma who also had a big smile and lovely personality. Loved the recycle bins on every level of hotel
