“Grupotel Picafort Beach”
My husband and I loved our stay at Picafort Beach. We are easily pleased to be honest, but this hotel was so clean and modern. My husband and I loved our stay at Picafort Beach. We are easily pleased to be honest, but this hotel was so clean and modern. Our room was lovely, the shower was huge, we had a sea view, the food was delicious and varied, the staff - without exception - were kind, helpful and cheerful. We didn't use the outdoor pool but we did use the sunbeds and enjoyed the sea view. On a chilly day we used the spa and the warm pool there. We love the beach and the sea is literally across the pathway. An idyllic stay for us in October, without our children, for the first time in 20 years. We couldn't have picked a better place. It was quiet and end of season (the hotel next door closed up after a few days) but that did not bother us. All shops and bars were open.

Fantastic small hotel, on the beach, plenty of shops, bars, cafes around. The rooms are very well equipped and very high standards of cleanliness. The range and quality of food served in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. It seemed that all rooms had at least a sideways sea view and a balcony. Very quiet area. Our only criticism was that the outside pool was very cold, appeared to have no heating at all and was therefore rarely used.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a great experience. The location is fantastic, and our room with the solarium was incredible—definitely a highlight of our stay. The swimming pool, open until 8 pm, was a great feature, and Jaime, the lifeguard, was very nice and helpful throughout our visit. He handled some difficult situations with rude customers who repeatedly brought glass to the pool, despite it being against the rules. We opted for half board, and the food was very good. My children were especially thrilled when they had a chocolate fountain at dinner! The beach is just a short walk away, and we rented hammocks right in front, which were €18.50 for the whole day—well worth it for a relaxing time by the sea. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Livia and Maria Francisca at reception, and to the director, Mari Angels, who was lovely and very helpful. One unexpected experience was the cultural difference we encountered in the spa. We were surprised to see four older men naked in the sauna, who then showered openly in front of our kids. Coming from the UK, this was something we weren't used to. I have to say, though, that the worst part of our stay wasn't the hotel itself, but some of the other guests. Despite this, we still had a memorable and enjoyable stay.
