This was a lovely hotel. Rooms are a little small but very clean, comfy and quiet. All the staff are lovely, the pool was good and there was ample parking for our hire car. The food was great, we ate well every day. I’d recommend this hotel for a relaxing break and it’s easy to get out resort by car due to is location for exploring the island

What a surprise this was! We booked with easy jet and the holiday was very cheap & we were not expecting much! Great stay had by all of us, rooms are small but more than fine. Beds comfy, nice hot shower and plenty of outside space. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Rooms cleaned daily and new towels. The pool is lovely, the jacuzzi water is changed every couple of days so can be cold on the AM. Pool cleaned every day. Nice sun beds around the pool and always lots available. The breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. The lunch bar is very reasonable and the food is good, recommend chilli nachos. The walk to the beach is about 10 min. I would recommend walking up the beach as it’s very busy near the square. Every member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful and always around when needed. A great stay and would come back. Biggest tip! Bring mosquito repellent as they are everywhere. Reception gave us some spray and plug-ins when we asked:)

We chose to stay here primarily as my husband is celiac and the garden hotels group promote their hotels as catering for celiac diet and for others on special diets. We also liked the idea of not staying in a large high rise building. On arrival we were pleasantly dealt with at reception and managed to get into the restaurant before it closed. All the staff here are friendly and very helpful. The chef kindly showed us what dishes were safe for my husband to eat. The dishes are mostly labelled and QR coded to check ingredients, but it’s safest to ask chef to tell you what is gluten free. My only disappointment was that whilst he was shown what he definitely could not eat, there wasn’t then a gluten free option of the same dish. For instance no GF pasta, lasagna or pancakes or desert cake. However every morning the staff would bake GF baguettes or croissants and bring them out to him. We noticed after the first two days there were more dishes that were prepared that were GF including potatoes and there was always something he could eat. The staff always happy and quick to help. All dishes did have their own serving utensils but you still can be at risk of cross contamination. Tip is to get there first or take your portion from the back where no one has touched it. Celiac is an autoimmune disease and not a dietary fad and folk can be very ill for weeks after accidentally eating gluten so it is very important that their needs are cared for, which on the whole we found was done. The grounds and pool is kept pristine, the area is tranquil, we upgraded to a bigger room that also had a kettle and cups. The beds are large and comfortable and our balcony was great to catch the sun. Plenty of sun beds all around. Yes there are mosquitoes in the area but use spray the minute you get off the plane and re apply regularly to minimise risk of bites. Loved being so close to S’Albufera park where we spent a lovely day cycling around, such a shame the recent fire did so much damage. Would recommend a stay here for peace and quiet, and the nearby beaches are wonderful. There are local restaurants (smiths) that also have GF menus if you really want burger and chips!
