Only spent a week at The Mariant .The staff were mainly helpful and friendly. Not many British at this hotel . Meal times hectic and noisy not a very relaxing experience. Plates were dirty so you would have to search for a clean one. Rooms were very clean and we had a lovely big terrace. Air con not very good but it might be lowered down because of the time of the season even though it was roasting . Lifts were very reliable. I imagine it would get far too busy at the height of the season around the pool area. The hotel is situated in a good part of the resort , a choice of 2 beaches and you can explore further a field to the rugged coastline. Bar closed early about 10.30 so we would go to the lively bar around the corner. Over all I enjoyed my stay at The Mariant but a week was long enough.

We arrived Saturday 21st Sept 2024 at roughly 11 am. The reception ladies were lovely on arrival but we hadn't realised you could upgrade to a gold wristband so silver it was. Gold I would think you get the spa gym and cocktails but unsure as never did actually find out. Check in is 2pm so we had to leave our cases so we did ask if there was somewhere so they were secure as there was 101 cases in the bar area ready for departing. First impressions of the restaurant was manic but that is normal for an all inclusive. Things are abit jumbled so pays to look before filling a plate. The older guy on the grill is lively and cooks the meats brilliant which most of the week he was on it but the last day someone else was cooking the meat and yes it was raw so just keep an eye on that. There is always plenty to go at but by the end of the week it does all taste the same very salty. The superior room was ok big enough for what we needed. The bathroom does have a shower over the bath but there is the odd rail to hold onto. Cleaned regularly but at 8.30am was not quite when we wanted a cleaner so we did miss a couple of days. The patio door didn't lock either. The walls are either very thin or the people next door were very inconsiderate but that was only half of our stay. We did manage to keep our room on as we weren't due to leave until 8pm at 40 euros. The hotel isn't a very English hotel as in the way of guests but that made no difference to us. The beach is easy to get to bottom of the road then left or a much smaller to the right, we mostly went left but the right beach is cheaper. Would I return poss not.
