Nice room overlooking road in and sea. Half term so understandably busy and the buffet breakfast and dinner was challenging at times. Lovely pool towels & plenty of sunbeds. Fridge, sink & microwave in the living area of the room. Great to make tea & coffee- just ask reception for a kettle and buy the milk from the nearby- 8 mins away- supermarket. Buy bottled water & don't be tempted to fill you reusable bottles from the water dispensers in the hotel restaurant or anywhere on site.

We were so excited to escape the UK winter chill and celebrate my partner's birthday. I used the last of my holidays at work, and we squeezed in a little family trip filled with sunshine! Our little trio—my partner, our six-year-old, and myself travelled 21st February 2025. **Location:** After landing at Tenerife South Airport, we got our rental car (Hertz - wouldn't recommend) and set off on a scenic 30-minute drive to our hotel. The best part? Our hotel was tucked away in a quiet spot, It was perfect for peaceful nights! But if you feel like venturing out a 7-10 minute walk will take you to pubs, and restaurants, oh and there's a little shop and a garage just a stroll away. Parking at the hotel was free, though we were grateful it wasn't too hectic when we visited because I can only imagine how crowded it might be during peak season and you would probably struggle to get a spot. Siam Park was a 25 minute drive away. **Staff:** While my partner parked the car, my son and I were met with a warm welcome from Diago, who helped us with our luggage. What a gem! Check-in was a breeze—we arrived at 3:00 PM and Pablo gave us a map of the hotel and filled us in on everything happening in and around the complex. The staff’s vibe set the tone for our stay; our plates were cleared in a flash whenever we finished eating, I had reached out ahead of time to let them know it was my partner’s birthday. When we returned from our day at Siam Park, we found: a slice of cake, a birthday message from the team, a bottle of champagne, and two flutes waiting for us! These little gestures made it clear that the staff truly cared, and we couldn’t have been happier. **Hotel Grounds:** Three spacious pools one with a little mini water slide, and a fun kids’ area for the smaller ones, I saw staff checking water quality and temp throughout the day. While the temperatures outside were lovely at 21°C, I’ll admit the pool water was freezing but not for our little boy who happily spent hours swimming, completely unfazed! I had worried about some earlier reviews mentioning sewage smells, but when we walked into reception scent of cherry/candy floss was all I could smell. We noticed an unpleasant smell in the restaurant and on our last day we sat by the pool outside the gym and could smell the same smell there but that was the only places/times. everywhere looked clean and well kept - gardens, toilets and pools! **Rooms:** We were lucky enough to land a spacious room with a sea view from the second floor of Block B. Everything was spotless (I usually can't resist a bit of cleaning when we stay away from home, but here I had no need!). The patio door worked fine, although it's not the double glazing were used to so didn't block out the nighttime sounds of passing cars and bikes. Surprisingly, the hotel had provided a load of stuff for guests —razors, shoehorns, cotton pads, shoe shine the works - not that I used any so couldn't comment if there any good!! I did attempt to use the body wash/ shampoo as I hadn't yet unpacked mine and as soon as it came out it smelt awful - like really bad! So I would definitely recommend bringing your own!! The showers were hot although the water pressure was more like a trickle! After enjoying the lovely birthday surprise, we rinsed our plates and left them in the sink. While a cleaner came by, they didn’t take them away, and we did have a little ant party around that area which I was surprised about given how clean everywhere was when we arrived. **Beds:** The pillows left a bit to be desired—a single pillow per person and not at all comfortable.—and the bed situation was the same With two single beds and a couch that converts into a double, we ended up wrestling with the sheets as there was nowhere to tuck it under. **Food:** We decided to upgrade to all-inclusive at check-in for €25 per adult and €12.50 for our little one each night. It meant unlimited drinks, snacks, and ice cream, which we thought was worth it. The food was ok at best, but we were never left hungry. The restaurant kitchen is small so you will be waiting around 5-10 minutes for an omelette should you want one but I like that they cooked to order so I didn't mind. The coffee machines could have used a few more units since the lines could get a bit long, and we always managed to find a seat - again bear in mind the time we visited. **Kids Club:** The kids' club has lots of fun games and activities, but I felt more comfortable sticking around with my son and wouldn't leave him there unattended. We popped in once, and although the staff were super friendly but was sat at desk away from the kids doing his own painting., there was only one person present, leaving the kids pretty much to their own devices. To add there was a sign-in and out policy along with a little locked gate. Plus, the sunbeds are also super close. **Entertainment:** We caught one night of entertainment during our stay, which happened to be soul night. 2 singers great voices but just no umph, atmosphere just wasn't there. Kids disco was good very engaging and my little boy loved it. All in all I would say our visit didn't put me off. I do believe you get what you pay for and this holiday was super cheap in comparison to what we usually pay for our holidays so I wasn't expecting a 5* resort or food.. there was good and there was bad points. I think given the price we'd stay again!
