Estefania & her staff are wonderful and are rightfully proud of this lovely building and their historic town. Breakfast in the tranquil courtyard was delicious and complimentary tea, coffee and wine for guests to enjoy at any time was a welcome bonus. We can’t wait to return!

We chose the hotel as we love historic properties and we were not disappointed. The property has been beautifully renovated and restored and the owners have kept a pictorial record of the renovation for guests to see. Well placed for the bus station and for the historic quarter of the town the hotel is in effect a boutique hotel. The room we had was comfortable, spotless and we also had the benefit of a private terrace. The rooms overlook an open courtyard where breakfast is taken but if the weather is not great there are inside rooms. The hotel does not have staff permanently on site but Estafania or her mother (the owners) are always available and Estafania is present every morning for breakfast. In our current times there is not a buffet and everything on the menu is ordered and there is a great choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Also tea/coffee/wine cakes and fruit are available 24/7 free of charge. The communal areas are very comfortable. Estafania is very helpful, friendly, and positive. Nothing was to much trouble. We used the hotel as a base to visit the west of the island and staying at the hotel really added to the joy of our trip. We would stay again without any hesitation.

A hidden gem in Icod de los Vinos with the best host ever. When standing in front of the hotel we didn’t really know what to expect... but once the front door opened we were overwhelmed by its beauty. The host isn’t present in the hotel 24/24 and we were asked to give a call once we arrived in the village as it only took her 5min to arrive. Estefanía is however reachable per whatsapp 24/24. Check in went smoothly and we were given lots of recommendations for hikes, nearby villages to explore, bars and restaurants (which was very much appreciated). As not all guests had checked in yet we were given a tour around the still available rooms and were allowed to choose the one we liked the most. The rooms are rather basic with a small private bathroom... but spotlessly clean. Coffee, tea and cake are provided free of charge during the day/night downstairs. Breakfast was served on the beautiful patio between the trees, plants and fountain. There was no buffet but an extensive table service breakfast. We could choose between a range of fresh and delicious food and drinks. After checkout we were given a key to the front door so we could leave our bags in the hotel while exploring this part of Tenerife. Estefanía informed us about a nice trick to park our car in front of the hotel to pick up our bags in the afternoon. If I can give one “remark”... please do adjust your price. It’s way tooooooo low for what you get. We still can’t believe we paid so little when you consider the extensive breakfast ánd the parking in the village center was included. To summarize: a perfect stay with a wonderful enthusiastic host Estefanía!

Old hotel in the center of town with free coffee, tea, wine, and bananas during the day. Free parking is arranged in the Drago parking garage a few hundred meters away from the hotel. The garage, however, closes at 21.00 and reopens in the morning. If you want to go out for dinner elsewhere you might have a problem parking, otherwise, it is really handy. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast served every morning is good. Bear in mind that it is a very old building and that you will hear a lot from your neighbors as it is very noisy.
