I’m currently staying at Hotel Zentral Center for with my wife on a B&B basis. On arrival the hotel exterior is modern design, the interior is showing its age but it has a lot of potential for refurbishment. Check-in was quick and the receptionist was friendly and explained everything about the hotel and dining times. The location of the hotel is between Los Christanos and Las Americas so not far to walk in either direction for pubs and restaurants. The guest rooms are of a large size and although there is no balcony you can open a full size door. The room decor is also a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and there is air con, a small fridge, sink and TV with a few English channels which is a positive. The bathroom has a large bath with over bath shower, the water pressure is very good and you will get a great shower. When we first arrived we found the toilet seat was broken so reported it to reception and it was replaced early the following day by the maintenance man, great service! The room was serviced daily, a few reviews have reported that bed linen wasn’t changed for a week, however there is a card in the room that states that if you require bed linen changed you need to place this card on the bed to indicate you require a change of bedding. Breakfast has a large selection of Continental and hot buffet style foods etc so most people will find something to eat but remember to take your printed hotel card with you. The rooftop pool area is nice and well kept and a quiet area, never found it busy and we always managed to get a Sun-lounger at any time of the day. It gets sun all day but could be cold if it’s windy as there is no shelter but then again could be welcomed breeze if it too hot. There is also a sauna adjacent to the pool area on Level 7 but note you will need to switch it on by pressing the green button in advance of when planning to use it. Would I stay here again? Yes I would

My daughter and I stayed for a long weekend Friday to Monday night Bed is comfy, large room, that's about it, shower shocking plastic cup to keep the shower head up, room never even had proper size towels, food is disgusting, nothing like the photos they show, no bar but they have 24/7 drinks at reception, close to beach and The Golden Mile. Pool is terrible, broken tiles around it, jacuzzi is cold, sauna has a switch outside you need to switch and then stays on for 15 mins then you need to go and switch it on (timer) Would I stay again, most likely not, no way is this a 4*

“No frills, solid hotel.”

Stayed 4 nights with friends. Overall impression is positive, nothing unexpected or negative to report. Location good. Stayed 4 nights with friends. Overall impression is positive, nothing unexpected or negative to report. Location good. Room, an accessible room, was large and had all I needed, dated perhaps but this isn’t a hotel you book to spend a long time in. Rooftop pool area fine, but they could do so more if they wanted with it. Overall, I paid about £110 per night, b&b. Good value for location and to use as a base. Definitely not a four star by UK standards. Breakfast was ok but just ok. Variety was good but lacked presentation and much taste. WiFi was hopeless. No bar in hotel, but reception will sell u wat u want. Overall, no frills, certainly no luxury but then they didn’t charge me for that. A good solid base, good location, spotlessly clean and a price that worked for what they charge. If you are on a budget or just want a base, this is fine. If you want swim up bars and modern trendy facilities, try elsewhere. I give it a three not as a criticism but wat it feels. Would I stay again, with friends yes, with my family, no.
