Things I loved? The staff. Very attentive, helpful, friendly, good humoured and multi-lingual. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this team were exceptional. The best ever. Seriously. Nothing too much trouble. It seemed as if they all thoroughly enjoyed their jobs and being in the team together. The atmosphere was first class. Special mentions for Umit and his wonderful, wonderful massage. Very highly recommended. He found and addressed some issues with my wife that her normal team of medical professionals at home never spotted. Gulshen at reception and her young professorial concierge, the cheerful cleaning lady who always made our room so homely and arranged our daughter's cuddly toys differently every day. The amazing team of waiters and waitresses, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Their hard work, professionalism and friendliness are an absolutely massive credit to the hotel. I shall add a couple of photos of some of them, although there was one young chap whose photo I didn't manage to get. He was only 17 and had already worked at Yetkin for a few years and was hoping to become a Garcon. If you're looking for a place where you'll be looked after, Hotel Yetkin is the place. "The Guest Is King" is their motto, and we were certainly treated like royalty. Mr Yetkin himself would wander about and speak to the guests at mealtimes. He must be in his 80s and his vision for the hotel has certainly been fulfilled. The animation team were bang on the money as well. Sometimes they can be a real PITA if you just want to chill, but at Hotel Yetkin they got the balance just right. Always smiley and friendly and perfectly happy to leave us alone to do our own thing, Fabulous. Great job guys! The actual building and grounds are an absolute treasure. We had a small top floor room with bathroom, aircon, a balcony and en-suite. It was beautifully decorated in white and gold and had a lovely old retro telephone to call reception if necessary. The fridge (with an unfortunate name) was restocked daily, although another couple of bottles of water a day would have been handy for the three of us. All of the statues and artwork, and the lighting at night, were completely enchanting. There is a kind of Roman or classic Greek theme. There's a huge statue of Poseidon to welcome you as you arrive, as well as Sparticus and many others. I loved the detail of the patterns of tiles in the flooring. Just wandering about the place, admiring all the sumptuous artwork, will keep you busy for a good while. The whole place seems to have been conceived from a beautiful dream and put into practice with great love and attention to detail. The food was mostly extremely good, especially the local olives and the cakes/desserts! I returned home 6kg heavier than when I went and have no regrets there at all. It's important to arrive early or bang on the start of mealtimes if you want the best booty as it can quickly disappear. I felt that it could have been organised a little better somehow, perhaps by keeping the dining hall open all day. The dining hall itself is a spectacular piece of interior design and architecture. Top tip is to sit near the two aircon machines if you can when the temperature is soaring. The beach is sandy and accessed from the hotel by a beautifully decorated tunnel that goes under the main road. The waves are tiny and there is an area of sea that is condoned off for safe swimming. The hotel has a lifeguard who was not required while we were there. The sea wasn't always very clean and sometimes we were covered in drops of oil or microplastics, but that's humanity's fault, not the hotel's. Beach furniture is attended by a hardworking chap who will bring matresses and umbrellas to keep you cool. The hotel beach bar offers free drinks all day, meals such as burgers, pizza and pasta at mealtimes, and there's usually a show or a disco in the evening. The shows were rather fun, espcially the Michael Jackson dancers, the Samba dancers and the Mexican Mariachi band. What was not so good? The DJ frequently broke a golden rule of DJing, in that he would often suddenly turn off a song in the middle rather than fading it out, leaving sudden dead air and confused looking dancers. One evening we had an a-la-carte meal, which was part of the package, and while it was ok, it wasn't anything special. In retrospect I would have preferred the scrum in the dining hall or the beach bar. There's not that much for kids to do other than getting wet. We didn't use the Kids Club or the Mini Clup (sic!). The main pool is great for relaxing in and my daughter actually swam properly for the first time in there. Fabulous! Check out the mural on its floor, photos don't do it justice. A number of people who used the small round pool with the elephant slide at the edge of the cool grassy area suffered ear infections. Rather than draining and cleaning the pool thoroughly, it was just left. Perhaps the hotel are in cahoots with the doctor, who charged an insane amount for a brief consultation, and fortunately our insurance covered that very quickly. My wife and daughter recovered in a couple of days, but a friend we made there was so bad that she almost had to stay longer as she would not have been able to fly. Would I go there again? Yes, happily. Would I recommend it to others? Absolutely.

We choosed tis hotel, beacause it has a direct access to the beach thru a tunne and it is a little bit outside of the Konakli, but if You mind, in 20 mitutes of easy walking time You will get the city bazaar or a shopping center. The hotel itself is right on the street, but thanks to the location of the main buldings and the trees in garden, the noise is not a problem. It is not a big hotel and that was for use a big +. We get an appartement with two bedrooms- realy large and two balcony, one with the view to the pool. We get every day softdrinks for free to the room. The hotelground is nice and look very cosily. A part of the hotel is a mini market. You can everywhere pay with EUR or a card- don´t need to cange money for turkish lira. The meals and drinks on the bar are free (AI). For breakfast I mostly choosed fresh prepared eggs on the outside grill. Every day was a showcooking for the dinner. All meals were buffet style., standart offer for tourists with some local meals. The pool was great with modern sunbeds. If You prefere the beach, You can take a sunbed in beachgarden or right on the sandy beach. Only the cleanliness of the water in the sea was disappointing- small plastic parts right by the shore, so after that we stayed on the pool. The pool i swit chlorine water, not with salt water. The stuff was very friendly, the owner of the hotel (Mr. Yetkin) came every day to the restaurant to meet the guests. That was very nice. The hotel and the gouds sre clean and well maintained. We stayed a week in June and as we leaved, we some small giftpackage from the hotel management- a book, body cream and a rose jam, which is a tipical local product. All in one nice vacation. This hotel I can highly recomend.

I loved the pizza, and the special Turkish food called "Gozleme" which are served at the beach in the afternoon. All the staff have been very helpful to us during our stay. I loved the roman decorations all around the hotel, which make you feel like you are in an ancient roman city. The swimming pool area is clean and conveniently located near the room. The food was delicious. I loved the drinks at the beach bar and the pool bar. We really enjoyed the entertainment at the beach in the evenings, The rooms are ideal size, very clean, and conveniently located close to the swimming pool, pool bar and the restaurant area. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone planning to visit Alanya, Turkey. One of the best in the area.

My husband and I had a hard time finding the right hotel for our trip and we were not disappointed with our choice. From the pictures we thought that the hotel was a bit over the top in decorations, but in truth we loved it. Everything was done with such style, quality, and there wasn't a corner, or detail that had been overlooked. Pictures do not do it justice. We passed a lot of other huge hotels on our bus ride to this hotel, but loved this hotel as soon as we saw it. A bit smaller, and you get all the attention you need. The staff speak Turkish, German, and some a little bit of Russian. There was one person at reception who spoke English. In the end it wasn't a problem for us, as everyone was helpful, and it was easy to make ourselves understood. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, air-conditioned, with a fridge full of drinks (beers, soda, and water), refilled daily. A free beach bag is given, which is a real treat, and the lounge beds with mattress and umbrellas are also free, so no need to pay extra. You pay a deposit for beach towels, but you get the money back. We only used the pool once, as we were more interested in the beach, but it is a beautiful pool. The walk to the beach is through a tunnel, which had been decorated with mosaics, and mirrors, so quite a nice walk through, and you come out to all this greenery of palm trees, and grass. Here is a kids pool with a slide, which we saw lots of families enjoying. For lunch you had the option of eating at the beach restaurant or at the main restaurant. The beach restaurant had more of a kids menu with nuggets, hamburgers, pizzas, fries, as well as salad, meat. The lunch time was only an hour from 12-13, and if you wanted a hamburger you needed to be already in queue from the beginning. We preferred eating at the main restaurant, where it was calmer and there was always plenty of food, fruit and deserts. The food was delicious, and the menu changed slightly everyday, one night a week being a Turkish food night, and other days having chicken, fish, meat as the main dish. If dinner started at 19, we would go at 20 and there was still plenty of food left. Even at 19 there would be a queue, but it moved quickly. There was a variety of dishes, salads, breads, cakes, fruits, and ice-cream was a pick of three flavours. The staff were amazing at clearing the tables as quickly as possible, they would also set the tables and bring you drinks. Not always as efficiently, but sometimes it was quite busy, but there was never a bunch of dirty dishes left on the table, so they did their job really well. The owner of the hotel would walk around and greet his guests. There were two bars, at the pool with a tv where one could follow the world cup, or at the beach, where some form of entertainment would be provided. Belly dancing, Fire show, bingo night (in German and Russian), kids disco, etc. The only downside I can think of is that wifi only worked at the reception or in the main restaurant and bar, but not in the room, or not in our room anyway. The reception being open, there is also not a seating area which is fully air-conditioned. There is one room that looks like an indoor bar, but we never saw it used. It's very easy to catch a bus to Alanya centre, but we loved our stay at the hotel and so we weren't too bothered about going on excursions. Definitely recommend this hotel, and am very grateful for the great service, and the wonderful staff. They left a goodbye gift of lotion, and a clock. So everything was so thoughtful, and wonderful.
