“Amazing. Recommend”
Oh what a amazing place. Location on nice beach. Food amazing. Surprisingly also food in snack bar was perfect. Especially typical turkish snacks - pide, etc. Great pool by coctail bar but infinity pool in superior room is great upgrade. Really recommend

Just returned from a 9 night stay at Yalihan Aspendos with my Mam - November 2024 Pros - Beautiful hotel, feels recently renovated and all of the areas are decorated and maintained to a high standard. The hotel is extremely clean - Food is very good, tasty and feels like lots of variety initially. Really good salad bar, breads and 2-3 hot food cooking stations each mealtime. - Relatively good coffee! All coffee is Nescafé from a machine with fresh milk. Good hot chocolates too. - Coffee machine and bottled water available 24/7 even though bars close at 22:00 - All drinks are branded - Coca Cola, Fanta, Lipton, and lots of alcohol options including full cocktail menu included in all inclusive - Lovely pool area and beach area. Well maintained and good bar options - Lovely spacious room and balcony. The beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in - Really good free wifi in the hotel that seems to work inside and out. - The spa in the hotel is amazing - full Hamam for €30 and a fantastic experience. The main gentleman in the white polo shirt who works in the spa is fantastic and was so friendly throughout our stay - A special shoutout to Aynur K who works in the bar in reception. She is extremely friendly, professional and efficient and her service stood out as being great - The food at the vista snack bar is great. Good choice on the menu for food between 10:00-16:00 - Large range of shops over the road from the hotel (although you do have to climb up and across a steep bridge to get there) - Not far from Alanya - we did a day trip but later realised there’s a bus which stops outside the hotel Cons - Arrived around 8pm. Check in was fine however we weren’t advised where to go for food or when it stopped until we asked. There wasn’t a map or signposting in the hotel so we had to work it out for ourselves. Evening meal finishes at 8:30 which feels early - Whilst food is beautiful, it is quite repetitive after a while. Breakfast options are limited. - Staff can be selective in who they serve. It appears tipping daily helps you get served most effectively. Most meal times we were barely offered a drink and had to ask for service. You can however walk up to the bar area in the restaurant to get your own - Tips are expected. A member of staff offered to carry our bags to the room on arrival and basically wouldn’t leave until we tipped him. We had to explain that we didn’t have cash yet and that we’d give him it the next day for him to hand over the key and leave. On the penultimate day before we left, the maid caught us in the corridor to ask if we had any change. We were so shocked by this, as we anyway usually leave a tip in the room on departure, which wasn’t until the next day. - Could not get into the A La Carte during our stay . No availability in November, even when asking to book up to 6 days in advance. They do Fish restaurant Mon-Wed and Italian Thurs-Fri. We were offered fish restaurant with one day available but we dont eat fish - The restaurant is in a separate building to reception/rooms, which means you have to walk outside to get to it. This is fine except when it rains and you get soaked - Quite hilly hotel not ideal for those with mobility problems, and a nightmare in the rain as drainage wasn’t very good leaving lots of surface water. - Throughout our 9 night stay there was only entertainment on 1 night. This was disappointing as other than some background music there was not a lot to do in the hotel - There’s quite a lot of noise from the road which can be heard in the rooms but this is just the nature of the location Overall a really lovely hotel and would be interested to return in the summer to see if the experience differed at all

We have just stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. It was overall an amazing experience and I would consider returning if we came back to this area again. The drinks were good (the frozen strawberry with alchohol was my fave) and food was ok, although it did get a bit repetitive towards the end of our stay as there is not much of a change to meals every day. We did get a bit confused with getting drinks with meals as it was unsure if we had to go up to get a drink or if they were brought to us as it was a bit inconsistent. The only problem with the hotel room was that you could hear the main road at night as it was very close to it, however if you upgraded your room to one at the back of the hotel this wouldn’t be an issue. I have to mention the Turkish bath on the grounds as it was the highlight of our stay, very cheep at roughly only €30 for a hour and it was the best experience I have had in a spa environment, the guy at the reception was very accomidating and friendly and the therapists were amazing we had two days using the spa. The pool was cold but that is to be expected as it is November, the sea however was very warm and the beach was lovely and clean with pleanty of loungers Overall this trip was a well need break and I felt truly relaxed the whole trip. It is defo worth doing for a budget trip, well worth the money 8/10

I want to start by saying that this is a lovely hotel, kept nice and clean and felt modern enough. However we found our hotel room floor was rather dirty when we first arrived. My girlfriend and I were fairly disappointed after our first day as we didn’t have the best nights sleep after a long day of travelling (also 2 hours from Antalya airport), this is due to the hotel being situated on a main road, and we found that we could hear a lot of road noise, depending on which side of the hotel you are on. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are okay. They aren’t anything special, we both got a bit sick of the food towards the end of the week as there isn’t much variety. My girlfriend started to feel very sick towards the end of the week and she is adamant that this is because of the quality of food, although this isn’t 100% confirmed. We also found that the service wasn’t great. We would sometimes get asked what drinks we wanted, sometimes we wouldn’t get offered a drink at all and would have to get out own, which is no problem, but when others are getting served are we aren’t we felt a bit disappointed. Not to mention that there is a shortage of knives and forks!! We would have to ask for these if we decided to go for a meal an hour after it started. The main point of the hotel. The majority of the guests that stay here are German. This is no issue at all if you can speak German, but we found that communication with people in the hotel was difficult as we are English. Not to mention the staff will automatically think you are German and talk to you in a language you don’t know, without asking where you are from. Despite all of this, we found that the beach, sea and pool are amazing. This is where we spent the majority of our time in the hotel. The pool is lovely and clean, cold, but nice to cool off in. There are sunbeds in the water to lay on which is nice. The beach too is nicely kept and there was zero rubbish laying about. However, if you want to be by the pool, you need to get up early to reserve a sunbed as there aren’t many of them at all, we found ourselves having to go onto the beach for most of the days as there were no more loungers left by the pool. We booked out holiday through Jet2, there are no representatives that make hotel visits so bare that in mind when booking. There also isn’t anyone here to help with booking excursions, we had to go to the shops across the road to do this, (Iceman Tours). Would I return to Yalihan Aspendos? Definitely not. It was a nice getaway for a week but would definitely reconsider my options if I was to return back to Antalya, Turkey.
