“Excellent option in Coogee”
I came back to stay for the third time and highly recommend the property to both business as well as leisure travellers. I came back to stay for the third time and highly recommend the property to both business as well as leisure travellers. The location is outstanding, right opposite the Coogee beach and the hospitality is professional yet warm. Good spacious rooms, renovated bathrooms makes it a comfortable stay. I got upgraded to Ocean View rooms and the view is spectacular!! Very good breakfast served at the restaurant. Overall, highly recommended and I'll certainly come back.

“Great service & staff”
Just spent 3 nights at the Crown Plaza Coogee, the service was wonderful from all the front desk staff & Shutters restaurant where we had a great choice of hot & cold dishes to choose from. The bedding was superior and comfortable. Will be my go to when we are back in Sydney.

“Really nice hotel if you want to visit Sydney but not been at the city center full of tourism.”
Our flight back home was cancelled so we have to stay 3 more days, after been at the city center we look this option as was near the city, but near one of the popular beaches of Sydney, much more quiet and relax. Wonderful choice, we were delighted by the possibilities to walk as locals do. The hotel itself is a good 4 start. The room was an ocean front, i believe it was recently renovated as per other reviews complaining about bathrooms, this was small but well appointed. The room space was generous and the balcony’s view over the ocean marvelous. Im a platinum Marriot member but Im glad we choose the IHG hotel. Breakfast included was good.

My daughter and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Coogee for 9 days and we loved the experience. Starting from the check-in where Mary and Chloe did everything to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Rochak, the front office manager, who looked after us during the whole stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was cosy, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was soooo comfortable and we had fresh towels every day. The black out curtains made it possible to have a nap in the afternoon and to sleep in in the morning. Rest levels successfully restored. The continental breakfast was delicious with also a selection of hot food freshly cooked by the chef. What a treat! There is a tennis court and a pool for guests enjoyment. Pool/beach towels are provided. Everyone from the reception, housekeeping staff, to the food and beverage team was helpful and friendly. A special shout out to the barista who spoiled my toddler making her a takeaway babycino every morning. At the end of our vacation, I struggled to convince her that “nope, she can’t live at the hotel” as she didn’t want to go back home😂. Now let’s talk about the location: 😍😍😍. It’s a beach front hotel with bus stops across the road going both to south and north of the city so it was very easy to move around. There is an onsite parking for the guests. Woollies and restaurants just a 5 minutes walking distance and Coogee Bay Road that offers a range of restaurants from all over the world. This place is a must if you want to taste Sydney’s vibe. I could not have asked for more. Highly recommended. Looking forward to staying there again… and my daughter too ! 😅
