“A favourite Sydney hotel”
I love staying at this hotel. I’m here at least once a month, sometimes more, and the Holiday Inn Potts Point is a favourite. I like the rooms especially if you get a harbour or city view. I love staying at this hotel. I’m here at least once a month, sometimes more, and the Holiday Inn Potts Point is a favourite. I like the rooms especially if you get a harbour or city view. It’s close enough to the CBD where my Sydney office is, yet it’s not in the CBD. I love the location, right in Potts Point and above the Kings Cross train station so it’s one stop for me into Martin Place. I love that it’s in Potts Point which has a real village vibe with great cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. I like the ease of car parking, easy in and easy out and I love the ground floor restaurant and bar Sirocco for ease of a drink and a meal and buffet breakfast. And I particularly like the friendly and courteous staff especially Front Office Manager, Steven Chapple, who always makes me feel welcome. A highly recommended hotel.

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 16 years on a very regular basis. The hotel is in a very convenient place as it sits on the Kings Cross station and therefore it is very close to and easily accessible to everything Sydney has to offer. I am always made to feel very welcome by all staff and as a Diamond elite member I am always upgraded to a lovely room. The manager Bruce Edwards is very friendly, always says hello. One of the managers, Steven, is often there to greet me and is also very friendly and helpful. Justin, one of the other managers always makes sure I am well looked after. There are too many staff members to mention, but this morning I did have the pleasure of dealing with Farhaan, who upgraded me to a beautiful suite. The breakfast buffet is very substantial and the restaurant, Sirocco also serves great food for lunch and dinner. The rooms are very spacious and quiet, with beautiful views of Sydney Harbour on the Harbour side. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed in this hotel a few times, and each visit has been generally positive. Service and Upgrades: The staff have consistently been friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a harbour view room, which was a nice touch and added a lot to my experience. Breakfast: Breakfast was decent, though not particularly outstanding. It met expectations but didn’t go beyond that. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the hotel is commendable. I noticed that the staff are diligent about refilling amenities and changing bed sheets regularly, which contributed to a comfortable stay. Location: The hotel's location is quite convenient, being close to King Cross Station. It’s also near bars and a Coles supermarket, which made it easy to get around and find what I needed. Overall, this hotel offers a pleasant stay with great service and a prime location, though there is room for improvement in breakfast offerings.

“Good location”
Good location! Right next to the Kings Cross Station for the metro. Numerous restaurants and a grocery store are also close. Bed and pillows were very comfortable! There is a small refrigerator and a hot water pot is provided with coffee and tea. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
