I recently stayed at Rydges Sydney Central and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. A special mention to Ashish from the front office—his exceptional customer service truly stood out. He was professional, friendly, and always willing to help, ensuring that everything went smoothly during my stay. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made a real difference! “Comfy and convenient”

Convenient location, Quiet, comfortable and affordable. The bed was super comfy, water pressure perfect and everything was clean. Arriving from the airport, Rydges Central is a short 2 block walk from Central Station, the light rail, Capitol Theatre / Haymaket, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst all nearby. A little hidden away but worth noting, there is a small guest lounge on the ground floor with a pod-coffee machine and microwave for heating up a meal on the go. A little detour to the top floor, one gets some great views of Central Station from an expansive conference room. The pool / gym facilities are great. (*pool heater currently being fixed, but a cooler temperature was most refreshing) The only thing I'd suggest is an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Signs on the door do warn that 'leaving the door open may set of smoke alarm', so foggy-steam room is the only option.

“Hotel with Something for Everyone”

This is my second stay at this hotel, my first stay was a day use only which inspired me to return on my next stay and I was not disappointed. The check in process was welcoming and quick with very helpful happy staff. The room a deluxe king was very spacious and had everything needed even many usb charging points. Breakfast was a wide selection of food catering for everyone. Facilities are nice with a outdoor terrace, a pool and a theatre that shows movies 4 times a day with quite a good selection but my favourite thing was the Sydney Brewery attached to the hotel with great food specials and happy hour twice daily. The staff were also super friendly here and made great cocktails. Something for everyone at this hotel even a late checkout was awarded after asking.

“Needs to do better for the price”
Quiet, great beds. Not great air conditioning. Good pool and spa. Average breakfast with vegan items not clearly marked. Sauna never got hot enough. Walking distance to trains and buses. Delay in checking in as room type not available but had pre booked. Staff friendly and helpful.

“Great for families”
We spent the new year's period at the Rydges Central and had a blast. The standard rooms were sufficiently large for mum, dad and two kids and we slept well. We spent the new year's period at the Rydges Central and had a blast. The standard rooms were sufficiently large for mum, dad and two kids and we slept well. The pool was nice and we loved the in-hotel cinema. The location was also very helpful, being close to the light rail. We even walked 20 minutes to Moore Park to watch a Sydney FC match. We didn't eat at the hotel because there are plenty of better options in nearby Thai Town. We got our room for under $300 a night which was the best deal going around at that time. It was our first visit here and we'll come back again when we next return to Sydney.
