“Wonderful nights sleep”
Our family had two rooms next to each other on the ground floor. After spending five nights at two different hotels in different cities we were happy to find spacious rooms, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. They are very clean. Our family had two rooms next to each other on the ground floor. After spending five nights at two different hotels in different cities we were happy to find spacious rooms, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. They are very clean. The location is excellent though we had trouble finding a place to eat dinner as everything was very very crowded. We found a take out pasta shop nearby and ate our pasta in the hotel lobby. Our second night we walked half and hour from the hotel and found restaurants that were not as busy and less expensive. The facility is lovely.

This is a smaller hotel right around the corner from the Duke’s Palace Hotel that has been taken over by the Dukes Hotel Collection. It’s very cosy and comfortable and you can use all the amenities of the Duke’s Palace Hotel, which has a nice wellness centre, a lovely restaurant and a cosy lobby and bar. It was also very nicely decorated for the holidays. We had a fantastic stay here, our room (26) was up some steep stairs under the roof, but we really liked it. The bed was very comfortable and it was really quiet. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel (we recommend That’s Toast cafe nearby), but the festive dinner we had was fantastic. The location was perfect for our stay in the middle of winter, everything was close by. Would definitely stay here again!

“Grand Old Duke of Bruges”
Beautiful hotel for new year treat, the Duke cocktail in the bar is a particular favourite! Rooms are warm and spacious and lovely to come back to after a day of (chilly) sightseeing. Ideally placed for all the major sights and the main part of the hotel is a stunning building

“Would return for Christmas in a heartbeat!”

My husband and I were here from the 21st till the 27th (through Christmas). This hotel is beyond comfortable, charming, lovely. The staff is friendly, warm, and helpful. We have been treated with nothing but kindness. We have a large room with a great view of the pretty yard, which has a holiday display. I believe this is a "Superior" room, not positive. King-sized bed. All over Bruges, everyone is just NICE. Everyone speaks English, although we try in French. The best Christmas vacation we have ever had in a non-English-speaking country.

“Meh”
Nice enough but a few niggles …. The room decor was a bit dated and bland looking. Also pretty pokey. Some of the furniture was damaged / stained and needed to be replaced. Breakfast in the hotel was disappointing… not that much choice and all a bit basic.
