“Average hotel”
Anshu was here. The hotel is just 2 steps away from an all vegetarian Indian hotel - Aahar. It’s centrally located and the city centre is 10-15 minutes walk. The staff is helpful. Overall an average hotel but good for the price. So can consider

Very quiet location yet near Antwerp Central Station, the shopping streets and the city’s Diamond district. Came for 2 days, stayed the whole week. Centrally located, just short walk from Antwerp's central station. Rooms are a bit outdated but still cozy. During the cold winter it could be a bit cold in rooms due to not so good heat isolation, but I stayed here in pretty warm spring and no problem. Every… more
Came for 2 days, stayed the whole week. Centrally located, just short walk from Antwerp's central station. Rooms are a bit outdated but still cozy. During the cold winter it could be a bit cold in rooms due to not so good heat isolation, but I stayed here in pretty warm spring and no problem. Everything is clean, staff nice and helpful. A place to stay again when I am back in Antwerp. ❤️

Pros: good location, reasonable price. Cons: while checking out, the reception lady quite aggressively claimed that I didn't pay city tax. Of course, I paid and the receipt was on the reception table, but she didn't want to check for it, instead, demanding me to pay it again. Eventually she "accti… more
Pros: good location, reasonable price. Cons: while checking out, the reception lady quite aggressively claimed that I didn't pay city tax. Of course, I paid and the receipt was on the reception table, but she didn't want to check for it, instead, demanding me to pay it again. Eventually she "acctidentally" found the receipt and said "okay, you paid it". No apologies for being rude and wasting my time for absolutely no reason.

For 95 euro a night I do not expect much: but I do expect clean sheets and a clean room. And, rest assured, this we got: beds were clean and rooms as well. However there are a few things that, I think, should be fixed. First: the electronics - such as airco - is outdated. Our airco was broken, which was no problem since there is a window. What was more annoying is that it continued to hum, even though it did work. In order to shut the thing off, a remote was required as it could not be operated manually. However, the remote was not available in our room. The friendly employee really did all he could to help us, and he got it to shut down eventually. So a very big thank you to him for hospitality and service. Secondly, in general I think this hotel needs a renovation: some new paint, carpeting and walloutlets. Breakfast was decent, nothing special but certainly not bad either So all in all: service 4 , accommodations 3 (breakfast included in this score), room 2
