“Beautiful and clean”
The rooms are nice and breakfast delicious. The owner Maria makes everything runs fine. Moreover it’s only two blocks away from Zimbros beach which offers many activities as kayaks, stand up paddles and trails to beautiful uncrowned beaches.

“An oasis in South Brazil”

We were at the Pousada do Frances a week before Brazilian Carnival. It was amazing! Brazilian architecture in most places and especially at the seaside is usually represented by ugly concrete buildings. You need to search well before booking a nice place by the beach. This pousada was amazing in many aspects: green ( amazing trees with tropical plants everywhere), cute and cozy, comfortable, clean, reasonably priced for brazilian standards and the staff was extremely friendly! Oh! They also have a pool! Breakfast was simple but delicious, with tropical fruits like mango and papaya and an amazing homemade ( or maybe frozen, not sure ) out -of -the - oven brazilian cheese bread! The location was excellent as well. It is not located at the Bombas/Bombinhas beach, but at Zimbros. Zimbros is a much quieter place, it used to be a fishing village and we can still see the fishing boats anchored not far from the beach. The sea is calm and there´s plenty of room for everyone, unlike some of the beaches in the surroundings where it can be difficult to find a place to sit depending on what time you get there. And from Zimbros you can easily reach all the other beaches by car or even by bus. The pousada is not by the beach, but it is an easy to walk the two blocks that separate them, and on the way you can see a few typical brazilian beach houses. To cut the story short: I highly recommend it!

“Very nice place”
Wife, myself and age 5 and 3 girls traveling together. Room was always neat and clean - we stayed in the big one. TV was hardly working. Swimming pool was real fun for the girls. Beach is a little ways away, but good exercise. Hotel team very friendly and kind. We will certainly be back soon.
