The Westin Edmonton is a great Hotel. It's downtown and close to all restaurants and not too far from the Rogers Arena. The staff here is amazing! Very helpful and always happy to help. I needed few things and they were more than happy to help... it was really nice of them to go out of their way. The hotel is a bit older but the rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. The underground parking is also really great. Easy to access and lots of spots available. The value could be better as there are some nearby hotels that have better pricing but this hotel was exactly where we needed to be and worked out great. Can't say enough about the staff at the front desk. Just Great!

“Need better housekeeping”

The room was comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was good and very convenient. However 2 full points off as there’s a lack of attention to detail in general housekeeping and cleanliness that really turned us off. We didn’t have any housekeeping at all for our 4 night stay. Someone came in and replaced toilet paper, towels and bottled water but only 3/4 days. No cleaning. The hallways and elevators were visibly dirty. Trash left in hallways. What looked like a dried booger stuck to the elevator wall for the entire stay. Also - no fault of the hotel, but fyi the area is kinda sketchy.

I was there in Feb to speak at a convention. The room was lovely. However, the restaurant food was highly priced and the food was not that great. With many hundreds of people staying in their venue, their restaurant should be packed, but it was not. I did complain to the management. They promised me a refund and some Marriot Bonvoy credits. Neither of which was granted.

Stayed here for a conference and was not too impressed. The hotel seems to be aging and is in need of an update. There were some nice touches such as sleep oil in the room and complimentary snacks, coffee, and drinks in the lobby. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable however the bathroom was not cleaned properly. My toilet was still dirty from the previous guests which was not pleasant to walk into. I did not received housekeeping on my second day and had to request it. As a gold elite member, I was hoping that my request for a room on a high floor and a late check out would be accommodated but this was not the case. Lighting in the room was quite poor as well.
