I’ve been coming to Montreal with the family for more than 4 times for tourisme and we decided to change and come to intercontinental. It was the best so far. People are extremely nice. Nice breakfast. And the rooms are big and proper. I have a 3yrs old with me who did some naughty things around and people were always so friendly and understanding. Chantal the concierge, help me so much with organizing our visit with the kids. She knew it all! I insist, the best choice was coming here.

“Great for a couple of nights”
Great hotel, helpful staff, nice bar and restaurant. Attentive breakfast staff with a great buffet selection or order from menu. Decent sized room, comfortable bed. Would stay again. Nice area to explore. Hotel looks very festive at this time of year.

My husband and I recently spent 6 days at the Intercontinental Montreal. It was a fantastic experience. Not only did we have a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River from our spacious room, we planned numerous activities with the help of Josée, concierge extraordinaire. We booked a variety of excursions including a walking food tour and a tour of Old Montreal. We enjoyed two delicious meals at the hotel restaurant Osco! We were delighted to try oysters we’d never had before: Lucky Limes from PEI. We also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager Phillip and found him to be engaging and helpful. The service all around was spectacular. You really get the sense that the entire staff at the hotel cares about your having the best experience possible. For all these reasons and for its proximity to Old Montreal, making it a short walking distance to many historical sites, museums, art galleries and restaurants, we highly recommend Intercontinental Montreal.

Nice hotel. The old style is charming and the place is well maintained so I enjoyed it. Has more class than your typical Intercontinental. For those of you going to the convention center this place is very convenient: Just cross the street and you are in the convention center. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only minor disappointment was the breakfast buffet which was very standard chain-hotel breakfast. Because the hotel looks really nice you forget you are in an Intercontinental and I had hoped for something a bit nicer. But the breakfast space is very nice. Overall, I will certainly come back here.
