We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour. It is a great hotel and out of the 6 hotels we stayed in during our full trip, this one had the BEST FOOD! Cheers to the chef and his team. The breakfast was extensive and very expansive with selections from many countries. You could have a traditional UK breakfast or a traditional Chinese one! The noodles and soup were very good. The braised beef noodle soup is amazing. The rooms were very clean and the service was wonderful. The front desk was very responsive. They offer special pillows on request (menu in room) at no cost. I tried the lavender pillow. It was wonderful. It is a buckwheat pillow with lavender scent. Wonderful for sleeping and relaxing after a very long day of sightseeing.

“good service”
Very friendly personnel and good service. The room is ready for me around 10am. I used my suite upgrade and was assigned an apartment suite. There are wash machine, stove, microwave and refrigerator in the suite.

“Nice enough, nice staff, food ok”
As a Platinum member got an upgraded room which was nice, the bed was ok, not super soft but better than average for Asia. Lounge was ok, offerings were, again, ok, but not spectacular. At breakfast both mornings they ran out of bacon and did not refill it for the 40+ minutes we were there to eat… more

At breakfast both mornings they ran out of bacon and did not refill it for the 40+ minutes we were there to eat. The bread was very good, the cappuccino was standard. Staff were kind and professional. Suggest since spa is closed they should have written directions and instructions for other spas in the area. On a side note - visit to the terracotta warriors was terrible - much too crowded and other visitors literally hitting you to get in front of you to see things - unsafe and ruined the trip.
