The hotel is in a good location 5 min from the Xiamen railway station. Have good coffee, stay away from the juice not fresh type tastes more of syrup. Can get simple Western breakfast but lots of Chinese dishes. It's location is near lots of restaurant by taxi 12-15kuai. Staff are friendly. … more
The hotel is in a good location 5 min from the Xiamen railway station. Have good coffee, stay away from the juice not fresh type tastes more of syrup. Can get simple Western breakfast but lots of Chinese dishes. It's location is near lots of restaurant by taxi 12-15kuai. Staff are friendly. We stayed during national holidays and had a lovely show performed by the staff. Will definitely recommend it

“Would stay there again”
It is close enough to the train station, there is a lot of local restaurants and shops nearby, close to the BRT and Metro stations. It is close enough to the train station, there is a lot of local restaurants and shops nearby, close to the BRT and Metro stations. Rooms were nice and comfortable, breakfast looked amazing though we didn't try it out as we had to rush to the airport. The staff were friendly, professional and despite not speaking English they used a translation app. It is just off of a main street (Xiahe Rd) so it is quieter than most places, and not far from the touristy areas (15 min by taxi) or airport (25 min)

At first I thought we'd chosen badly but after a few nights I realized that this is a great hotel. It's in a good place, on a main road with lots of transport options nearby, including the train station. It's within walking distance of Zhongshan Road through Zhongshan Park and a flower market. If you go down some side streets, you'll find lots of shops, markets, restaurants and eating outlets. There's a large shopping area about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. We had a deluxe room on the no-smoking floor and while the decor was older and a bit worn, the room was a good size and had everything we could ask for, e.g. a great bed, functional bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast was included and had a good range of dishes, mainly Chinese but there was a good variety of different breads, cereals, fruit, juices, and of course eggs so plently for everyone. The staff in the hotel are outstanding. They were extremely helpful and really made sure our stay was special. We weren't able to use the free shuttle bus because of the times of our flights. We would certainly return to this hotel. It was great value and a great place to stay.

We arrived late from a long day's traveling (2 flights and a taxi ride) and found that we had been upgraded to good rooms, so we were very happy. Daughter's room even had a wooden bath in it. We arrived late from a long day's traveling (2 flights and a taxi ride) and found that we had been upgraded to good rooms, so we were very happy. Daughter's room even had a wooden bath in it. So we were able to stretch out and relax which was much appreciated. The hotel has no bar by the way so if you want some beer then go to the lobby shop (which shuts at 10pm) and buy a few cans for your delectation. Prices are reasonable. All in all, a good find and we will use the hotel again.

WiFi network accessible to international phones went down after two days and never came up again. Other Wifi network (Chinese phones only) kept working. Huge breakfast buffet, very Chinese; western fare less impressive but surprisingly Good fresh baguettes. Absolutely horrible coffee. Recommendable, provided at last one of you speaks Basic Chinese and use a Chinese simcard (can’t do without really, Wechat rapidly becomes indispensable)
