“Great Stay”
Hotel is nice. Needs a some refreshment but very nice. Location is amazing you have 2-3 minutes walk to main square. The best thing bout the hotel was its employees who were kind beyond expectation. Will come back for sure.

Staff were friendly and very welcoming. I arrived early into Zagreb and they let me leave my case while I went exploring. Room was nice, clean and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning kept the room at a nice temperature. Location is good, close to the cathedral and central square. Trams run right outside and there is a Spar just on the corner. Pretty much perfect for the price.

Jadran is centrally located so walking to many restaurants and sites is practical. Also, the tram system runs by the front door and stops are close by. Rooms are OK, clean and relatively convenient. The elevator is ancient and slow. If someone fails to close the door completely, your room is converted to a 5th floor walk up until the situation is corrected. Breakfast is adequate but not really worth its cost. The staff is friendly and helpful. Limited parking is available on premises and essential if you are driving.

I did not like that when booking it was not clear that you have to pay extra for parking (8 EUR/day) and breakfast (8 EUR/person/day). So overall the stay was more expensive per night than booked. In addition, you can not reserve a parking space. If you are lucky, you can park when you arrive, if not, you have to go somewhere else. The location is very good, near the main square. But the view from the window was not nice... on an old, half destroyed roof.

Jadran is a Hotel which is located on Vlaška street which is some 10 minutes walk from the Ban Jelačić square. Excellent location for a Zagreb hotel . Though tram line is passing just in front of the Hotel entrance , the insulation from the recently changed windows is making the noise of it almost non existent. Some parts of the hotel have been recently renovated but despite that , the aging parts ( notably all of the bathroom) are quite visible. There is not a small refrigerator in the room which should likely be of help in the hot July days. The breakfast was below average. I would likely skip it next time there is a nice bakery within walking distance and has excellent choices. The staff at the reception were very polite and helpful, I do not remember that I ever had such a nice conversation with any hotel clerk . Kudos to these guys for the help.
