Just had a 4 night stay at this lovely little hotel. We where greeted on arrival at airport which we had pre booked and taken straight to the hotel. When we got to the hotel we where shown to our room, and what a room it was, spacious and comfortable with a lovely view overlooking petrin tower. The room was well equipped with a reasonably priced mini bar and towels and toiletries replenished frequently. Breakfast was somewhat limited but they doing the best they can under these circumstances. All the staff where really friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located for Prague castle and monastery and transport, within a few minutes walk there is some lovely bars and restaurants.

I keep coming back here because the staff is really good and the rooms are nice with large bathrooms and comfortable amenities. The breakfast in the morning offers good choices and a great way to start your day. I also use the airport to hotel car service. The driver is friendly and professional. He knows all the best ways and is a really good driver. The location is just up hill from the castle and has a number of sites close by. I also enjoy the walk down the the Charles Bridge. The area is quiet and sleeping is good at night. Overall, I keep coming back here and it helps me enjoy my visits to Prague.

“Excellent”
An unusual property which some would describe as "boutique" and others"bijou". A warm welcome, a large comfortable room and a reasonable breakfast - and all this at a reasonable price and a five minute walk from St. Vitus Cathedral in the uphill, castle area of the city. What more could one want?

This is the first place which I stayed at in my life, where the staff when leading you to your room and carrying your luggage walks... downstairs! That was so surprising and unique experience which truly excited me! The hotel is located in a historical building U Lampy, which is almost 400 years old. Apartments facing Loretanska street are private places, and hotel rooms face South, Petrin hill and Uvoz street. Therefore it is very quite place where nobody can disturb you. Hotel has only 8 rooms which are situated on two levels. We stayed on a lower level, closest to the Uvoz street, in a historical room with a high barrel ceiling. Room was smaller than it appeared on photos, but still fairly spacious and comfortable. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. We were able to get answers to all our, sometimes tricky, questions and requests. (Yes, hot water is hot indeed and IS always available; you just have to wait for a few seconds for it to come for it's an old building and water apparently gets cold in winter time inside tubes.) Breakfast is good, but not as varied as 4* hotels usually have. For staying a New year night at their hotel all the guests were presented by gratuitous bottle of Bohemian champagne, which was really cute. The hotel's terraces are pretty romantic with a small table available for guests on each terrace. It was nice sitting there for a while in cold winter weather and I believe it may be even nicer experience in a summer time (just don't forget to bring some champagne with you.)

If you want to be away from Prague's tourist hordes, this is probably the best place for you ! It's in a lovely cobbled district near lots of great sights - Prague Castle, Loreta Church, Strahov Monastery etc Yes it's a much quieter area - you have to walk uphill from town to get back - but it's not difficult, in fact it's a great way to walk off your dinner and appreciate the city (there's also a great tram route-22 if you want to ride home instead.) The hotel staff were all really helpful - thank you Susanna, Mary and Martina - there's a good breakfast, and all thought through well. The hotel is simple but tasteful and stylish - and yes, get Room 6 if you can, it's great. All in all, thoroughly recommended for discerning travellers.
